i haven't even seen the ADD-TO-CART button after the intial drop.. just the waiting to restock message or whatever.

Looks like it's time to go back to the WalMart Black Friday stampede strategy. In-person only, must be a registered BB customer, and one card per person per year.

When the app doesn’t crash I’ve been able to score cards. Online it’s just crazy. But it’s locally so I think it depends on how many cards your local store will get.

I think about the same amount of cards but now with more and more bots. So we have less and less chance to manually get one.

I think about the same amount of cards but now with more and more bots. So we have less and less chance to manually get one.
You can try on your phone with the apple buy feature is really fast, you might stand a chace

Every other Thursday seems to be the pattern. Usually between 8-930 pst. This is actually an off week but because the new nvidia will be available, who knows.

I have only gotten one card from best buy and it was by calling in when that workaround still existed

The store in my city is doing a ticket system, but it opens up at 7am and its only for FE, and i would really prefer an after market card but i guess ill have to wait and see

I would imagine Best Buy might have only about a handful of cards during launch day as well.
I hope they continue to do in-store purchases only so that these bots don't buy them all out in 1/10000000000000000th of a second

Yeah, although bots are everywhere these days. I haven't heard of any online store selling PC parts that have been able to deal with such a plague. AMD store was supposed to be bot-proof and when they launched their latest products they directly moved from to be announced to out of stock... it seems like a lost battle
