Teletran So on this page: https://www.evga.com/prod...y&chipset=RTX+3050
The only item here that is Elite Member Exclusive is the $329 USD version.
Looks like the $249 version will be open to everyone and not Elite members.
Have a look at the page in an incognito browser.
That blue "Elite Only" button replaces the Auto Notify button on the page. The Black currently has no Auto Notify button, hence the "Elite Only" message doesn't appear.
I sure hope you're right...

what is considered a "normal rate of refresh" also i dont see why anyone would buy the one for 330, 80$ more for 3% improvement, thats the model that Gamersnexus got and he said its not worth it
I started with a Dell Optiplex 7010, upgraded to several different models into a Precision T1700 case swap. Now I have a decent setup that I am happy with: Ryzen 5 3600 ASUS B550 TUFF Gaming plus wifi 32GB DDR4 3200 Crucial Ballistix white EVGA GTX 1060 6gb (horrible spiral cooler) EVGA 750 G6 power supply Phanteks P360A white case Oh here's an associate code too if you want 6L3ADV80V7N7JMB

I won't pay $329 for this marginally acceptable 1080p card. Too bad, my cash-poor nephew is itching for an upgrade.

The Black may never actually come in-stock so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I also definitely wouldn't delete my XC Gaming queue to wait for the Black. You can manually leave the queue later if the Black pops up, but who knows how many EVGA will even make. You may just be in the Black queue forever with no card. If EVGA releases a step-up for the 3050 then you can always use that, which means the $330 price is irrelevant.

One thing you should all think about is that the Queue is open right now for the XC card. If any of you really need a new 30 Series and you were hoping for a 3050, you should consider jumping in the queue for this now. If the queue opens up for the XC Black card (and it hasn't yet at this time), you can remove your XC notify and get into the queue for the XC Black card at that time. Of course, if you get the notification to purchase the XC before the XC Black is open for notifies, you can still make your choice at that time if you want to purchase the card. For people in that situation, I would suggest you get into the queue, keep an eye on the XC Black, and worry about your decision later.

So we can have 2 notifies for the 3050? 1 for the 3050 XC and 1 for the 3050 Black?

My reasoning exactly. Can you confirm this card will be eligible for the "step up" program? That would make the most sense.

This 100% People should jump in now just to have a placeholder. Wait until tomorrow to see if the black version goes live then simply remove and enter that one. At this point, it's the difference between having a card and not having one.

damn, pushing that FOMO hard. you heard it here folks, XC black was never open, and "If" is heavily emphasized. the $249 card is vaporware.

Pretty sure the $249 version is being saved for non EVGA-Elite members for their launch tomorrow. Kind of sucks, but I'd keep your queue entry open anyways since I'm pretty certain the cheap version will be gone near instantly and won't be open probably ever.
The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.

No. Only 1 at a time for the same chipset. My point is that you can always take yourself out of one queue in a chipset to put yourself into another queue of the same chipset (if it's open), but you can't sign up for a queue in hindsight if/when it's closed.

The only issue is we will never know what kind of quantities you would possibly ship of the black cards if you decided to ever sell them. Like others have said, if you cancelled your notify for the XC then you you might be giving up your shot at any card at all. Just because a queue would have opened for the black doesn't mean you would ever get one.

just sign up for the xc and enter the newegg shuffle. if your build really needs completed $80 isn't a terrible jump. I want the black to do some tinkering itx builds. like it was said before if you need a card get the xc queue because it's still better priced then all the marked up garbage out there. there are 1650s priced higher

It's good logic, but I never clicked the $329 notify button since it is only one 3050 at a time... I just can't bring myself to pay the same price for a 3050 that I paid for a 3060 last Feb. Oh well.

Only EVGA knows...it may not even be today or tomorrow. It will be when they have some inventory in hand so that they can distribute invite to purchase emails within a reasonable time after the first registrations occur (the history of the queues have shown that at least a few invite to purchase emails go out the day the registrations open...with Queue 3.0, I would expect that timeline to be slightly extended to within a day or two so as to allow for EVGA to obtain a critical mass to create the EVGA Score tier allocation).

I haven't seen a report of a 3050 invite to purchase email being received. As I have mentioned in prior posts, I would expect those invites to be slightly delayed relative to what we've seen from Queue 1.0 and Queue 2.0 product launches.

ASUS may be upfront with their intentions but their cards are priced even higher. Way too high. At least EVGA only adds on $80. And not $190+

staypuft I had a shot at the $329 card as soon as the button went live... which wasn't 9:00 AM EST... more like 9:03? Anyway, never saw the $249 button before servers crashed. Anyone get in on the Black? I won't pay $329 for this marginally acceptable 1080p card. Too bad, my cash-poor nephew is itching for an upgrade.
Pretty sure the $249 version is being saved for non EVGA-Elite members for their launch tomorrow. Kind of sucks, but I'd keep your queue entry open anyways since I'm pretty certain the cheap version will be gone near instantly and won't be open probably ever.
It's good logic, but I never clicked the $329 notify button since it is only one 3050 at a time... I just can't bring myself to pay the same price for a 3050 that I paid for a 3060 last Feb. Oh well.
Its happens with stuff man. The Corvette we just bought my daughter is a lower model than the one I bought myself last year and it was a bit more. That is how inflation works.
