Probably most Elite members queued up on the 3050 XC today and have another card they are queued on. EVGA will only allow you to have 2 cards in queue, so they would either have to drop a card from their notify list to queue for the 3050 XC Black or skip the 3050 XC Black. I won't be able to queue into the 3050 XC Black queue as I did the 3050 XC today and have another card in queue I hope to get. So I wouldn't count yourself out on getting the 3050 XC Black from EVGA. Plus you can always try the Newegg Shuffle and hope they don't start adding a PSU or something into the Shuffle to get the 3050 XC Black.

I doubt the 3050 XC Black (3551) will have an auto-notify button for signing up to the queue anytime soon. I think the Blacks are, generally speaking, going to be made available via EVGA's other retail partners (and not via the queues). If you are looking for a 3050, from the queues, I think you will be limited to the 3050 XC Gaming (3553)...but it is a bit pricier. The delay by EVGA of sending out invite to purchase emails to tomorrow indicates to me that they are waiting to include the non-Elite members in the tiers and priority list. Elite vs. non-Elite is now -- in Queue 3.0 -- just about the tiebreaking timestamp...so it is conceivable that non-Elite accounts that have not previously purchased a 30 series from the queues will be in the mix. I would encourage you to prepare for a 6 am PT rush tomorrow of non-Elites seeking to be among the first to register in that classification (I assume it will be around 6 am PT tomorrow that the non-Elites are given access...for the Elites, this morning, the button went live approximately 6:05 am). yeah but with the wrong bios on it gamer nexus said it was the over clocked bios the more expensive versions I think they forgot to put that 80$ back plate on it when they sent them out

Since you just joined, you will have to wait until tomorrow to queue into the RTX 3050. The first 24 hours go to Elite Members only and then opens up to the rest after that. So tomorrow at 6am PT, you can queue into the RTX 3050.

The 3050 will work for most, I'm not ready to give up my queue for it though. With a 3060 ti & 3070 ti on wait for a year now, I think I'll hold out. Good luck everyone :)

If you're putting all your cards (my puns are always intended) in the EVGA queue basket then you're not doing this right.
If you really really really want a card do some research and get on the discord channel that will let you know about potential upcoming drops from Best Buy and ANT Online.
Sign up for the Newegg Shuffle every day.
Get your gameface on on launch days and come with a plan.
Getting a 30 series card is like a game. You better know the rules and you better come to play, otherwise the only thing to say to you is git gud.

I agree, people complaining about not getting cards, are really not trying or putting little to no effort into getting one. You must use all avenues at your disposal, not just hope and wait. I get so tired of reading the post from new members with less than 100 post complaining about not getting a card, but putting less than an hours work into getting one, given there rare, but not impossible to get. Your not going to be handed one just because you want it, no participation trophies here. Get out there and get it.

The $80 back plate model is so over priced so it should still be available for general public tomorrow at 6AM PST.
From what I can tell, the Black series are the main base model retail SKUs. Have been for at least a decade. AIBs make more money off their upgrades than the reference boards. Not sure if you're aware, but businesses don't survive if they don't make a profit.

EVGA's base series Black cards didn't come around until the 10 series cards, so that was around 2016 at earliest. There was a Titan Black card, but it was the top high end card at the time and it came out in 2014. So no the Black series cards have not been around for a decade.

well...my only hope of buying this new GPU at a realistic price is slim. I can only hope if I win the Newegg Shuffle with luck. Is it difficult for big companies like EVGA to announce the launch plan for their new GPUs? They just had to say that the XC Black model would not be in the Queue system, we don't even know if they really have stock of this model or if tomorrow it can be purchased on their website, while the XC with the 80$ backplate I don't know if there are still any left They don't let you know where you are in the Queue or if they have any stock left.
it's like they want us not to buy it.
I'm not sad just disappointed....
Ugh yeah suffered same problem and ended up being around 16 or 17 minutes past the hour when I signed up for the XC Gaming as I gave up on the Black, only to realize the Black was for tomorrow. That sucked and with me spending minutes on this the entire retail sector minus Micro Center (not near one) and Newegg Shuffle (did try my hand at that, failed as predicted) was completely out of stock, yikes. Pretty disappointing and would've been a quite sour day if it wasn't for a nice person that gave his winning spot in the Newegg Shuffle to me, and funnily enough it was the same damn GPU I avoided that fateful morning, the XC Gaming. Given my second chance, I immediately accepted it and purchased that sucker and woo hoo I got that XC Gaming at $329, which is still a good deal compared to where the market will be taking this GPU very quickly towards, that $400-500 territory. :( Don't worry, pretty damn thankful I got it, because it was that or a sad chance to dive at one with millions of other interested upgraders and purchasers tomorrow. Guess a lesson to learn: never aim for the Black models as an Elite member. Good luck to those with a second chance at a 3050 in the Queue tomorrow, or well later today since it's 1AM for me.

Thanks for the info. I bought my first evga card 20 years ago at Best Buy and assumed that the retail versions weren't the same as the internet models available from the start, because I never saw them in BB.
