Hi. This is the second release in a row where I (as an "Elite" member) have received no prior notice/opportunity to queue for the card (first was the 3080 12GB). I am opted in to "all the things" (AFAIK). Is this how things are supposed to work now or is something broken?! Thank you.

FYI, no where does it say us "Elite" get extra or early notice of a product launch, we only get first dibs on a product launch, big difference.  I just learned this as well as I was assuming.

I thought we got 24 hour advance notice to queue before the queue was general availability? I guess I misread/misunderstood the "advantage" of being "elite".

"What would an extra day get you".

Apparently, nothing if it never happens. :|

Appreciate the reply.

We got to queue 24/h in advance of none Elite members... there is no "Advanced Notice" show us where you saw they were giving any type of "advanced notice" as this has never been the case.

Got it. So we get to queue early, but there is no notification; we just have to monitor release dates and know when to assemble. Guess it's time to start the daily search for "3090 ti release date". Thank you for the clarification!

If you made in into the queue the chances of getting one are good.... its the WHEN and with 0 score it could be a while.

No one knows exactly how cards will be distributed in the new queue.  Or how many 3050's Nvidia is producing.
I don't even think the Queue Tracker thread will help at all anymore.

Considering that I was online at 9 am PT for the reopening of the 3090 KPE HC registrations but couldn't register for an additional 01:51:28 because the site wasn't stable...yes, I would consider the stability of the site today a huge improvement.  Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman huge.

Because you have already received a card from the queue, your registration will be deprioritized behind those who haven't.  I think you have an extended wait ahead.  Sorry I don't have better news.

One thing you should all think about is that the Queue is open right now for the XC card.  If any of you really need a new 30 Series and you were hoping for a 3050, you should consider jumping in the queue for this now.  If the queue opens up for the XC Black card (and it hasn't yet at this time), you can remove your XC notify and get into the queue for the XC Black card at that time.  Of course, if you get the notification to purchase the XC before the XC Black is open for notifies, you can still make your choice at that time if you want to purchase the card.  For people in that situation, I would suggest you get into the queue, keep an eye on the XC Black, and worry about your decision later.

damn, pushing that FOMO hard.

you heard it here folks, XC black was never open, and "If" is heavily emphasized. the $249 card is vaporware.

Not really my intent here.  In every launch, you have some cards available Day-1 or close to it.  Even then, some cards are naturally delayed or limited in quantities (e.g. HYBRIDs, HC, K|NGP|N cards, etc.).  Getting in the queue is not a contract where you are obligated to buy, after all.  The constant feedback we get from members is that they wish they had signed up for something when queues are open.  If the queue is available now, there's no downside to jumping in, unless you know you won't purchase it - in which case, you might just be taking a spot from someone who does want to purchase it.

You are correct that the XC Black queue has not been opened.  My emphasis is more to suggest that users think about how to use the Queue system to their advantage, even if they just use the notification as a placeholder while waiting for the one they want to open.

Will EVGA be sending out emails to purchase the 08G-P5-3553-KR card today?

It's worth mentioning you are only de-prioritized within your tier.
If you bought a 3060 and have some points on your account, that means you're in a tier with other people who have similar points.  People with points on their account are more likely to have already bought a card from the queue, so you won't be pushed as far back.

"30 Series purchase status – Customers who have purchased a 30 Series product from EVGA.com will be deprioritized in the VGA queue, and will become eligible to purchase their VGA notify product(s) after others in their tier purchase a 30 Series product.*"

Was considering getting a 3050 for my son, but I'm not paying $330 for a card that struggles to do 60 fps at 1080p. I considered getting in the queue for it at $250, but it sounds like a dozen people across the country will get that one, then it will never be made again.

I'll make the prediction: it'll be the same thing all over again for the 4000 series unless people just stop buying at these ridiculous prices.

Wait... so what's changed is it is now any 30xx purchase, not just from EVGA.com, that will push us down in priority within our tier? Thank you.

Did anyone bother to read this https://www.evga.com/support/queue3/?

"EVGA Queue Order"

"3. 30 Series purchase status – Customers who have purchased a 30 Series product from EVGA.com will be deprioritized in the VGA queue, and will become eligible to purchase their VGA notify product(s) after others in their tier purchase a 30 Series product.*

- a. Non-VGA notification queues are not affected by this requirement."

That's part of the problem. Some don't bother to read and immediately jumps into forum and ask the question. Or may have read it but didn't understand what it meant?

That's complete BS. Why even have the Elite Member 24 hour lead time? Tossing the loyal customers to the curb....again.

I will point out that Jacob mentioned that Queues will remain open longer; he didn't say that queues will remain open indefinitely.

How does a person know if they are in the top 300 highest scores?

If you have to ask, then you're not.

Yes, this is correct.

For the rest of you, let's just say there was a miscommunication on my part.  The Queue 3.0 page is correct as written and is processed according to those rules.  As a result, I removed most of the recent posts that branched off due to my posts there.  Sorry, guys.

What is the "tier"? in "my member information" page I only my score.

So the people that have the highest priority are those that buy a mouse, keyboard or Power Supply and become "elite" (never received a 3000 series cards from the queue).

I don't think they've offered any information in how the tiers are formulated or how expansive each one is.  Could be Score 1-5, 1-10, 1-25 or could be each score is its own tier (I doubt it's either extreme).  Or could get larger since you have less people.  I'm sure there's a lot more people with a Score of 1-10 than with a score of 50-100 so you could lump all those top people differently.

@EVGATech_LeeM, a number of us have asked this and now I'm asking this as well, will EVGA let us know what tier we belong to? What's the point of letting us know our EVGA scores and not knowing the tier we belong to?  It does not give us a sense of where we stand in the queue.

Yes, this is correct.

For the rest of you, let's just say there was a miscommunication on my part.  The Queue 3.0 page is correct as written and is processed according to those rules.  As a result, I removed most of the recent posts that branched off due to my posts there.  Sorry, guys.

Will EVGA be sending out emails to purchase the 08G-P5-3553-KR card today?

For members who already purchased 3000 series cards from the queue which takes priority?

Time Stamp or Score?

Both.  You'll still be separated by tier, then score, and then by time stamp.

Thanks again Lee.  This seems clear.

1) Certain total quantity of cards are dropped on a given day for a given SKU
- Card quantities assigned to each Tier

2) First up are the Top 300 who still have their single-use bypass
- Notifications in this subset are sorted within their Tier according to score (high to low), then time stamp for tied scores (earliest to latest)

3) Next served are those who HAVE NOT previously purchased a 30 Series from EVGA queue (new, not b-stock or step-up)
- Notifications in this subset are sorted within their Tier according to score (high to low), then time stamp for tied scores (earliest to latest)

4) Then the rest of general Tier population
- Notifications in this subset are sorted within their Tier according to score (high to low), then time stamp for tied scores (earliest to latest)

5) Repeat steps 2-4 for each Tier according to the number of cards assigned to that Tier for a given drop

6) Beginning of each month: Update scores and re-sort all notify holders according to the updated data in preparation for future drops that month

What did I miss?

Had a friend let me use their pc with a gtx 1050 no ti, and I wanted to buy a 3050 so I can finally play pc games on it.

I pray that I can get a $250 when they open the queue.
