I’m seeing a lot of cards on Newegg (US) have flipped from “Coming Soon” to “Out of Stock” with a message saying unavailable due to high demand. Did the purchase window already go by and I missed it?

In the eu they removed the 3000 series completely from the store. And a big German hardware retailer has changed the product ad and removed the purchase button. Wondering whats going on

Any idea if the upcoming RTX 3080 hybrid will also be a 3x8pin variant?
asked and answered multiple times friend theres two hybrid cards, xc3 hybrid and ftw3 hybrid, the cards are the same as their non hybrid counterparts and so ftw3 hybrid is 3 pin, xc3 hybrid 2 pin.

So Im planning on getting the 3090. But not sure which one to get from the models they have. Whats the difference from the Kingpin and Hybrid? Are these just for cooling purposes? Would the fan versions be slower? If someone can help me out here, I would greatly appreciate it. p.s I do not plan on overclocking! But I do need room for another GPU I have already 1070ti.

If your not going to overlock on LN2 or dry ice don't buy the KP. Its like hunting deer with a rocket launcher.

The Kingpin is very specifically built for overclocking. If you are not overclocking, do not waste the extreme premium costs on the Kingpin, and buy something else for your computer. We should have air cooled reviews for the 3080 in about 25 minutes, and those will give a general idea of how the air cooled cards are going to do on the market. All of the hybrids will come with a 240mm radiator, so you will need to know if they can fit if you decide to go with that fashion of card. Almost all of the cards are going to perform well, not matter what cooler is on them, so you would need to base your decision on the card you like the look of most, and then whether you want the hybrid or air cooled card.

I am conflicted about buying the 3080 FE, other brand or a EVGA card, I do like the classic design of the EVGA, but my case has airholes/grid on top for watercooler radiator installation, so airflow past the cpu would not be a real problem like some benchmarks showed of the FE editoin.
So I wanted to try EVGA this time because of the normal cooler without leds. But now it seems all the cards have been removed from the EU site and my normal shop is only selling Gigabyte and MSI models so far.
So what to do in 15 minutes? :)

Looking at my local Canada Computers page and while they now have all the prices up, all they are offering is Instore preorder for all makers.
3080 FTW 3 Gaming Ultra is listed at $1109.00 Can
NewEgg Ca only has one card as available, ADd To Cart, an MSI.

When folks consider the airflow of the founders card, that half of the heat goes up to the CPU, dont forget that most cards have been exhausting ALL of the heat into the case prior to this. I doubt the GPU exhausting have directly up is as bad as some are anticipating. I look forward to GN's in depth look at the heat in the end.

Went in knowing there was a good chance the sites were gonna crash and I might not get one. Got all the way to the final page of checkout close to when Jacob said "50% stock letft" and then it just spun until after everything was sold out. Drives me insane that getting past the part where it verifies your credit card doesn't reserve the card until you finish check out.
Hopefully they can do something with the site before the FTW cards drop..
