just want to chime in that i purchased the hybird kit for the founders edition and it doesnt work : \. there is a 14 pin adapter that doesnt seem to power neither the pump or the fan where as in the fe model it connects to another duaghter baord where the fans and rgb led then connect to. I dont konw waht the problem is and its driving me nuts

Review the Manual.


iv done it twice and even followed another tutorial on here to get it to work with the founder edition back plate. but nothing i dont know what the problem could be?? Was it a straight forward install and any hiccups or issues with the 14 pin?

Post some images of your connectors and this daughter board.
You might want to sick with One Thread for this issues or Create your Own Thread over posting in 4 or 5 different Threads.

the original founder edition shroud has the pvb that controls the fans and rgb lights which connects to the gpu usuing a 14 pin wire 
 

 
in the picture below u can see that 14 pin connector on the farthest right


 
the evga using this adapter which plugs into the 14pin but in my case nothing turns on, not the pump or vrm fan or rgb led.

The Daughter Board no longer applies as it is part of the Original Cooler and no loner used with the Hybrid Kit.
Is the cable plugged in backwards on the FE PCB?

 
What end from the below cable below did you connect the Pump to and which one for the Blower Fan?
Did you break a wire?

If it is using a NVIDIA Reference PCB then Yes.
If not then No.
What is the Full Model / Part Number of your Graphics Card?

This looks like a Short PCB Card so it would not be the NVIDIA Reference PCB.

Well the RTX GPU Die is larger than the GTX GPU Die. So I would think it is do Big for a GTX Card.
Also if it did I would think that EVGA would show support for their other GTX model cards and they do not.
But you are better off testing this yourself or asking EVGA.

Yeah I was thinking that someone that had the previous models might know. Despite the die size, maybe the holes are at the same distance, thats all that maters for me, since I only need the CLC, not planning to use the rest.

Well if they haven't fixed the pump noise, in my opinion, this pump isn't worth half that price. 

You can buy elsewhere if the pump is to noisy for you.
The Pump is fine and their are other threads that you can post your dislikes in.

Hybrid kit order is done and I had some EVGA bucks I forgot about so that helped out considerablyIm excited to have my first water cooled GPU!

Kind of answered my own question after watching several videos by GamersNexus, seems like the spacing of the RTX cards is larger compared with the previous generations, so no go on the new kits fitting on the old cards. On side note, its possible to install BeQuiet CLC on the RTX

Any word on if they will come with a smaller bracket or not?

I saw it in the store, I just didn’t know if it came with the kit or not. I mean I think it should, but I don’t know if it does since I’ve never ordered a hybrid kit or did anything like this myself.


More than likely not. It is inexpensive though. Throwing an extra bracket in would raise the cost for people that don’t need it, when the people that need it can pick it up separately.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification.  I was thinking it was needed.  So the only reason to get the smaller bracket is if you want to free up a slot in your case?




When I got mine, it didn't have the bracket with it. The 3 slot bracket does work if you need, but I talked to EVGA and they said that the 2 slot bracket was supposed to come with the kit, so they sent one over to me for free.

Then you lucked out as I did pay for both of mine.
It would be nice to know who at EVGA told you this for others to know who to contact for a free 2 Slot Bracket.
I have never seen the 2 Slot Bracket List on any of the Hybrid Kits or even the Hydro Copper Water Blocks
