TheWolf hellshealer hey guys, i have a question for sme of the AMD users here, i built a computer for a friend with an AMD FX4170 CPU (Quad @4.2ghz stock) and an asrock 970 extreme 3 board with 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram and for some odd reason it can only see 3.98 usable. i have reseated the ram a few times and in different configs but it still playing up. (also the fan is stupidly annoying) any ideas on this i have played around with the settings for the ram and it still doesnt change. im thinking the CPU cooler might be too tight Its probably the operating system your using. If its a 32bit system that be the reason why. You'll need a 64bit OS to see anything over 4GB. nah man it was a 64bit OS, the problem was a faulty ram stick >< it knew what it was but couldn't address it making only 4 gb (1 stick) usable. i figured it out when the bios said it was running single channel

Yeah I could have started a new thread but someone here will know. Anyways I'm wanting some Quick Disconnects for 1/2 inch tubing.Want suggestions so I don't get the wrong ones since they are a little pricey. This is pretty much all I come across.

I am using the Koolance Extreme Flow 3/8" compression fit male and female no-leak quick disconnects. I have no complaints. Being able to easily disconnect my CPU or video cards from the loop without spilling any fluid is very convenient. EDIT: You can see one set of QDs in my avatar picture.

Thanks ty_ger07, So I should just go for the 1/2" version? I'm putting things in and out all the time and thinking some QD's would make my life a lot easier.

Got it used on ebay. If you want a phase, I would check XS and ask a builder to see what their prices are. RunMC has a similar unit for $800-shipped new. Sdumper is the maker of my particular unit

Here is my benching station: Unfortunately, it usually is just collecting dust. I have so many other hobbies going on, I can't afford much time to bench any more. I am running a gaming clan, two websites, three game servers, and have a demanding job.
