Usage of BF3 with EVERYTHING I mean EVERYTHING turned on and Ultra 4msaa, you name it i tuned it on. it dont get better than this! 5760x1080 latest beta drivers to date. Aero Turned off.
So glad I didn't wait for 4gb cards. These are plenty. you will for sure need 3 or more cards to go over 60fps at this resolution.
Awsome thanks so much :)

man with no real 4GB to test against it is good to see that bandwidth and vram management looks pretty solid. May also get tired and buy the 2GB as well. Good show!

Yeah just wait till i find out how to OC these bad boys and put them on water. Can only get better.. I can really say that 2gb cards are plenty for most ppl. if your above 5760x1080 then yeah 4gb might be for you. but your going to need 3 or more cards for FPS to stay up there.

well I am gonna be doing 5760x1080 with an accessory monitor. Doubt that will have much impact though. Pulled the Trigger on 2x 670 FTWs. Too bad there are no backplates.... booo Anyone know for sure if 680 Reference block will fit this card?

proctous And here is 5760x1080 Ultra preset again but this time 2msaa is the only change. Also Windows 7 Aero and everything is off. Not hitting 2GB at all. Very happy Now to try Skyrim! I could have sworn I played BF3 single player campaign last time at 1920x1200 everything the highest 4xMSAA + Motion Blur off and the VRAM hit more than 1700 MB!

if you are looking to game on 5760x1080 on sli 670ftws i would HIGHLY advise getting the 4gb cards... new games such as farcry 3 and crysis 3 consume TONS of vram at that resolution... i am currently running 2 670ftws on 3 27inch HD monitors... my avg consumption from both cards is ~1776mb... when i turn on even 2x MSAA in NEW games it 100% maxes out my vram and runs like ishhh... i wish i would of spent the extra 100$ on 4gb cards... currently in crysis 3 (online) i run "high" all down the advanced page with only FXAA on... any AA higher then that and my vrams are shot... basically i wish i would of gotten the 4gb models... actually i wish i would of gotten the 4gb 680... hope this helps~!

My 2 2gb 670s have been great - got em on release day. Crysis 3 doesn't go to 60fps if you add in a bunch of AA at 5760x1080. Don't know about the 4gb. The thing is, I bet some Radeons 7970s would do good/better. Prices have changed a bit after all.
Been really happy with this tho.

Should of gotten the 670 FTW's, then you wouldn't need waterblocks :) For 9$ more you get the 680 pcb/fan/heat-sink,basically making the FTW more like a 680 than a 670GTX. My 2 cards in Crysis 2 run under 62C at 96-98% usage across both cards at around 127% power target. Check out this review on the 670 FTW- http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/4072/2/evga-geforce-gtx-670-ftw-2gb-review-popular-gtx-670-benchmarks Currently the most valued card on the market right now as it obliterates most of the 680's and all of the other 670's in several games.

I realize i could most likely get a bigger gaming performance upgrade spending 800$ a different way, but i'm oh so tired of sitting next to a 70 decibel tower and 150$ of that 800 is just for compression fittings /vomit

sorry for my snapping response, it was shortly after having a shopping cart failure on frozencpu.com... when checking out it combined all of my shopping carts and billed my card, but only asked me to approve the 7 items in my cart... of course this happened after they closed, and of course it is a holiday weekend, so there is no way to try and stop payment and fix order until monday. ffs man i dont mind supporting private companies like frozencpu who tend to over charge abit, but to run into this is just insane, ive been shopping online since before it was safe to shop online
