Your facts dont apply to my situation, so there is no need for you to try and explain why the world works a certain way and why thousands of people get notifications at once and it gets bought out instantly. In your ideal world your answer works for you. In mine, it does not because i know why everyone does not get it at the same time. I explained my reasoning in the previous post. They cant handle sending out that notification to everyone at the same exact time and have everyone rush their website attempting to order a product. They have had issues in the past with this and I am certain now it does not notify everyone at the same time. Dig up threads from the GTX 480 days.... Their product page was basically down and people counted order.... EVGA does not want that... SO they control it by not notifying everyone at the same time.. Its obvious

You people obviously have never tried to order concert tickets from ticketmster. Lol sold out in 7 seconds. Edit: if EVGAs auto notify system works like my last employer had their set, you get queued up in chronological order of submission. First people to request auto notify are the first to get said message and so on.

Why don't my facts apply to the SAME situation, yet yours does?? Fact is that EVERYTIME I've used the auto-notify option, I've received emails instantly and have gotten many products because of it. And many people I know that have used the auto-notify option have the same results as me. Do you have any proof of this theory of yours about eVGA sending out notifications at different times?

You are lucky, i've seen stuff go into stock for 2 days before newegg sends me a "They're in stock" notification... and when I go to look after they sent the notification they're sold out again. I did it for the Titan X this time, we'll see if they actually do it right this time.

SC clocks are decent, I'll also be waiting for the SC model. On a side note....are Titan Z's ever supposed to come back in stock? I know you can get them from system builders, but I haven't seen them for sale anywhere else in a long time. Jen-Hsun said if you want double precision, get a Titan-Z instead so where are they? lol

Are you brain dead or something? Where did i once say my facts apply to the situation but yours do not? I said... it does not apply to my situation.. maybe your situations apply to everyone's situation.. you must be a special guy?> Unless you have proof that the system works the way you state it does do not go on acting like its a fact.. You want proof that you are out of line and jerk? here you go said by you " But you have to be available the instant you get the email otherwise the other thousands of people who got it as well will beat you to the store page." A comment made by you.. basically acting as if its a fact.. That thousands of people get the same email the same second and that everyone rushes the site and it sells out in seconds. Another comment by you " Just remember, THOUSANDS of people sign up for it and are waiting for the same product. It's basically who can get to the store page first. Every time I've signed up for the auto-notify, I've received emails the instant the products go up for sale." Basically stating the same thing but this time emphasizing the " THOUSANDS " and insulting my intelligence in an attempt to say i dont know how the world works.. As if i am ignorant and dont understand many people want the same product at the same time. You clearly did not create the system, you do not monitor it and nor do you control it. LET ALONE understand who set it up or how it operates. So dont go attacking my posts and acting as if what you state is facts unless you have proof as well. You cannot prove you received an email the Instant it went up. It could have been up 5 minutes before you got the email or even 10 minutes before you got the email. Maybe you were fortunate enough to get the email because you signed up before alot of people. It does not mean that you received the email the second it was available. You cant prove anything you are saying and sit there asking me to prove what I am saying... Easy fix. I signed up for the notification.. When its in stock.. lets see if everyone received their email at the same exact time +- 1 or 2 minutes to allow for spam filters and slow email servers to handle the requests. I'm going to guess that there will be gaps in the time people received their emails and that i agree with mistermister that there is somewhat of queue system whether it be in chronological order of submission or in waves of emails. Id love for someone from EVGA to chime in here and put this to rest and tell us how their notification system works.. I think we Deserve that as the consumers.

I have read exactly what you have typed. You said that you were "talking about facts that i have based on my experience", and when I said that I was basing my facts from my personal experience, you said "your facts don't apply". But please go on acting immature and calling people names over the internet, it's a great way to earn respect and for people to take you seriously (oh wait...).

Yea, covered here: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2309509 It's a typo. EDIT: Nevermind, the requirement is real. From EVGA tech: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2310149
Seriously?! o_O But how will that affect people with less than the recommended? I have 16 gigs of system memory. I know they say it "works" with less than 24 gigs, but how will that affect anything?

TITAN X is not so expensive when someone sell old graphic card for 400-500 and that's almost half of money. For them is Titan X same as GTX980 than. But from zero who need to pay is very hard.

I placed my order at 2:30pm pacific but when I called customer service they told me that my order was placed at 4:30pm and 4:00pm was the cutoff time. I would have placed the order sooner but I was in da middle of family matters that were more important.

Got mine today and been playing around with it for a few hours. Overall awesome card, but it is not ALL improvement over 980. Came in a box that is about the size of a woman's shoebox. Much smaller in person than it looks in pictures with no frame of reference I guess. So some negatives, there is no super awesome back cover like the GTX 980 reference. It looks like the holes are the same however, but I am not sure if a plate should be put on there due to VRAM modules on the back of the card. I think the last card to do this was the GTX 280. Overall, I think the original silver/black cooler looks sharper than the blacked out Titan X look, but the side profile of the card still has the silver flair around the GEFORCE GTX light up logo. Oh, and the Titan and fan area do not light up or glow as the glamour shots indicate. EVGA's 980 SC also had more nice bells and whistles, like connector plugs and an SLI bridge cover. It is DEFINITELY louder than the 980, mainly at idle it is more inline with older Nvidia blower coolers in terms of sound. However, once it ramps up it is about the same so far. Overclocking may change this. There is a bit more of a howl to it vs. the 980 which was easily the quietest card at idle I've ever owned. The card does not boost as high out of the box, well covered, but my 980 SC boosted from 1242 stock to 1404 out of the box with no OC and I ran it at 1454 and it rarely if ever throttled. This card using just power target of 110% (max) in Afterburner boosted up to 1202, not bad but was mostly in the 1177 range during gaming. I will try and push it later today. Also as covered in many reviews, there does not seem to be much RAM overclocking headroom. I clocked RAM to +250 (3750 or 7500) and after a gaming session noticed it had slid back to 3500 even though AB showed the OC was still applied. Seems as if Titan X will clock the memory back down if it thinks it is unstable rather than just let your screen lock up or crash? So, effective bandwidth will be reduced from the expected 50% as well given my 980 and many others I read are able to achieve 8000MHz (+500) quite easily. Comes with NO connectors, no accessories, just a pamphlet and a pretty nice Nvidia heavy duty special edition case badge. Special edition is blacked out, although I think the standard green one with Nvidia claw looks better. I did play Assassin's Creed Unity with Ultra Details and 4xMSAA and it is still not what I consider playable lol, but I did manage to push VRAM up to 6GB at 2560x1440 on my ROG Swift. :) In summary, I'm still really happy with the card, but it is not going to be as big of a boost to anyone who already had a GTX 980 or any of the previous Titan cards. Anyone coming from something smaller or older is going to be in for a pretty big leap however. If EVGA had a SC version of this I would've bought it on launch but I think anyone who is willing to wait should if they can. The SC model is going to be a steal for just $30 and will be the card to get for anyone who wants the reference cooler. It will also have all the connectors and such included. I will probably end up selling my 980SC (or my wife's 970 and give her the 980), but I think anyone who picks up a 2nd 980 for SLI would be just as happy with that instead of this card. I think for 4K I would probably opt for this card mainly for VRAM, but for anyone looking at 120+Hz gaming at 2560x1440 or lower, I think 980SC would probably give better performance in most cases. Hope this helps for anyone on the fence and is looking at this card.

I hope you don't actually believe those. Really, an extra $1000 for something that hasn't been released by the daughter company.

For me is interesting Superclocked version. I would first rather to enjoy little in custom design before installation block. Money from 780Ti need me desperately. Same as I sold GTX780 for GTX780Ti, that help me lot at the end of 2013. Black Titan + black Motherboard = Ultimate Gaming RIG.

Thanks for quick honest review, many people that have already got them wont point the negative so psychologically they don't want to have regret. So the performance is pretty much on par with 980 and DP is cut big time almost to the point of no really usable to professional and $1000

Believe them? Why wouldn't I? These are auctions from sellers with 1000+ feedback that have been members since '09, not some new account created yesterday to troll eBayers. Why would someone with that level of feedback risk their eBay account for a quick buck by falsely advertising such an item? The fact that they're so expensive doesn't mean anything since they're unlikely going to sell those GPUs at that price, and there are several non-EVGA Titan X GPUs up for sale on eBay that are $500 - $1,000 more than what nVidia is asking for them -- It doesn't mean people are actually going to pay that price. However, why shouldn't I believe those EVGA auctions aren't real? You don't think more than one person has access to them? Do you think they're all stored at Jacob's house and he's keeping an eye on them? I'm sure EVGA has plenty of Titan X GPUs ready to go at warehouses in several locations across the country which plenty of people have access to.

I would like to NVIDIA get many many negative comments because they didn't cover sensitive back part with backplate. That's typical situation without logic explanation why they didn't install backplate. I mean card is expensive backplate with thermal pads are necessary. No talking about that at all. Other things are fan sound is somehow weird, I listen on TPU. My GTX580 no such sound or TITAN Black. That would be really bad if NVIDIA save cost on that way or maybe is card hotter as expected and need faster cooler. But for performance NVIDIA deserve best comments. Anyway such good card as TITAN X should work on 1200-1300MHz boost 100MHz OC memory with water block in silence. Than she can give you nice performance for years. There are so much memory and customers could buy second for 2 years when price become 300$ and again DX12 support is there, enough video memory, and nice GPU performance. I don't know, for me is this model somehow more attractive than TITAN Black and performance are not naive at all.

People keep complaining about the backplate. I think it's a reasonable thought that the VRAM chips on the back (which are extremely hot under load) need airflow, and a backplate is just going to cover them up. Would thermal pads work? Don't know... I heard their last backplates were plastic which is an obvious no-go. EVGA's metal backplates are pretty thin, so I feel like the thermal capacity from that would be abysmal for 12 hot VRAM chips.
