Man a G!! I don't know about that, maybe if its available for stepup Maybe, it is a sweet looking card I love the solid looking fan assemble with the die cast it is beautiful.
I will say I bet they got all phases right this time with the dual GPU design, meaning acoustic, heat and OC ability.

Looks like they managed to put two full dies on one PCB. All they did was lower the clocks. Little overclocking, you got two full GTX680's on one PCB. Still 2GB VRAM per GPU. Not surprising though.

Maybe it will have a lightshow and play jingles!  I certainly hope it impresses though.  Until then, I'll stick with what I've got.

Well they are giving a total of 10 power phases...a standard reference 680 has 4 power phases, so they gave 5 to each gpu...so that should help with overclocking as well.
 
Being that the Core is clocked a little under a standard 680, with the extra power phase I wonder if you would be able to OC to hit the default 680 speed?  I would think you would because it is clocked at 915mhz, so a +91 to the core would hit the 1006 of standard 680.
 
Asking for a $1000.00 for this is really not bad when you consider that it basically is 2 680's in one card with 2 extra power phases...not bad if you ask me. 
 
I have never been a fan of cards that dump heat into the case though and when the 680's heat up, it puts out some serious heat, so with the 690 that heat will be dumped into the case (for at least one of the GPU's as the other dumps it out the back).
 
So who is getting one?

With the one you got, that would make 2 690's with 8 GB of Memory if the 680 classifieds have 2 gb of memory , if you just get one more of what you got, you can have a 690 with hot air going out the back

I will say tho that when maxwell comes out and you can get this card for about $200, it would be epic in a mini machine.

The don't think we will see any AIB GTX690 base on this expensive design, this will prolly be built exclusively by Nvidia.
