If he puts any single cards up will they just show up in the store with a add to cart button instead of the notify me button?

The GTX 1080 FTW gaming. was priced at 649 + 80 for the psu + 89 for the case. 123 discount at the end + 100$ shipping. I'm pumped finally getting it! Worst case scenario I resell the case locally

Gamer will not upgrade card for that price :) Miner will change/upgrade card every year cause he burn his card and take new cause here in EU is 2 years of warranty minimum.

Why do you idiots that don't mine ASSUME that miners burn their cards more often than gamers?
Miners AS A GENERAL RULE turn down the card TDP for efficiency, which means it runs COOLER and LASTS LONGER than the *COMMON* practice of gamers to "push that overclock for max FPS*

GAMERS are more likely to "burn out cards" than miners are - miners need the cards to last so they have the best probability of the card paying for itself.
Miners are also A LOT MORE SENSITIVE to card pricing, as higher price = longer time just to pay off the cost of the card = less PROFIT.

Miners pretty much NEVER "upgrade" their cards - the long-term miners like me keep then running for YEARS 'till they die because we set them for efficient mining and STAY PROFITABLE, the less efficient miners give up when profitability drops and don't mine long enough for the cards to have a "replacement" available.

Gamers are more likely to figure "it's just once for a few years" and pay a significant surcharge ANYWAY (though perhaps not to the levels CURRENTLY seen in most cases).

The ONLY card I have ever "replaced" as a mining card was an infant mortality case that died less than a week after I got it - 4 more IDENTICAL cards running at the SAME settings are still mining today, 4+ YEARS later, abet they were HIS models with junk sleeve-bearing fans and I had to replace the fans 5-8 months into my ownership and use of them.

Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding.
I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.

Miners run 24/7 And gamers what?? Couple hours a day if that? 14 hours a week to 168 hours a week.. big difference!

Even if it was as high as 4 hours a day it still would be 28 hours a week to 168 hours.

If they gamed for 4 hours a day 7 days a week it would still be well under your weekly usage total!

I would pull the trigger but I find it hard to resell a case. Really wish I could swap it out with a mobo.

Seems like if we wait long enough... they should just give us a card, like a sympathy card, or something ;-)
