I am so depressed over the recent price gouging from 3rd party retailers. I am in the process of purchasing components for a new build and can't seem to catch a break finding a good deal for a GPU. It seems that I will be stuck waiting until prices fall.  

 
+1.  My son has been working and saving his money since last Spring to build his dream gaming machine.  He thought he had enough and then we went and looked at the current video card prices and were in shock.  Memory prices too.  Absolutely ridiculous.  Cryptocurrency miners and retailer price gouging are to blame.  Would be nice if card manufacturers would hold some cards back for sale to gamers only.

I have been into flying model helicopters for a while. The hobby can be very expensive and also living in CT the winter makes the hobby difficult to enjoy. So I decided to build pc. I have been a console gamer my whole life. I had no idea getting a gpu was this bad. I purchased everything and cant get a gpu for a fair price. I am beginning to wish I built another heli. How long is evga going to only sell to elite members?

I desperately need a 1080 ti FTW3 to replace my dead GPU so I can finish editing a music video in DaVinci Resolve. I'm so hoping I'll be able to snag one here at an affordable price! Please bring the 1080 rain! :-)
