The DIY configurator was really frustrating in that for some reason it kept resetting/forgetting my selections.  I had a 1080 ti SC2 Gaming in my setup, but by the time I was able to get it paired with a case and power supply and went to check out it was sold out.. =(

Is there any way to know just what sort of stock will show up in the DIY configurator?  I'd really prefer an FTW3 Gaming (or even the Hybrid), but I haven't seen them show up there in the past few days.

The 1080's that went up today were up for much longer than the 1080ti's were.

I got my 1080 FTW2 (6686), took a min or 2 to process through the payment options. Once I finished I went back to see if it was still up and it was. The 1080's were up for a good solid 5 min. The 1080ti's, I watched go in under 1 min.

Keep that F5 warmed up, and best of luck.

Ordered a 1080 FTW today. My PayPal shipping info was wrong and I had to cancel it... RIP GPU dream.

See I would shoot for the 1080 but at this point I'd be a lot more comfortable using a Ti for my Vive just so it lasts a little bit longer. Current gen VR games need a lot of resources.

Right...I am working off a GTX-770 right now, I jumped on what I could so I can finally finalize my new rig. Phew!

Best of Luck!

Been looking into getting a pair of EVGA 1080ti SC2 Hybrids. I love my 980ti Hybrids.

Was rather POed at the lack of availability. BitCoin or not, you'd think that the production would ramp up or down depending on the demand. It seems to always have done so in the past.

The fact that we all have to sit around all day hitting F5 is a joke. EVGA should start a order QUE and then fill it. I remember them doing so for the step ups and the 780's back in the day.

I get the notification at 5:39 my item is in stock..I checked it while driving on the highway immediately (within ten seconds)...and nothing..no stock showing.  Sigh.  I've got 758 dollars set aside for you EVGA....you tell me how I get this money in your hands, cause every notify I get seems to come up completely empty.

What is around the corner? 2 months 6 months? Nobody knows.. why would they release a new series when the demand is the way it is now. Also, they probably won’t release the high end cards. They’ll start off with the 60’s and 70’s first.

RIG 1: i5-8600K / Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5 / EVGA GTX 1070 FTW / 16GB Corsair 3000MHz / 950 Pro 512GB M.2 / 850 Pro 1TB /  Phanteks Pro M Tempered / EVGA 750P2 / SGPC's cables / Dell U3415W Monitor

Yeah, that's the thing. With GPU cycles it feels like people always say things are right around the corner. If that were true, I'd probably never get a card from waiting. If I end up catching a card at a great price that's awesome, but I won't hold back until there's substantial news on Volta.

Agreed. People forget this is not a necessity in life. It’s a luxury to play video games. I understand that a few people could legitimately need a high end GPU for work, etc. My point is, so what if the next generation is “right around the corner”. That’s always going to be the case. Then you either keep what you have or upgrade. There will always be new tech in 6 months. Lol

Even when they do 'release', it'll be a paper launch with cards coming at a later targeted date.  I just bit the bullet and decided to get a high end card for the first time that will last me for years.  You can get a card, it's just timing and persistence at this point.

if in 2 months if I cannot still get the card I want @ MSRP, I will just bite the bullet @ $1200 if it still is in production (lol). By that time I would save up enough to offset that extra cost. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are blower style still being manufactured and is there any eta on T2/P2 PSUs over 1000w? Seriously thinking of just selling off everything, grabbing a blower 1080ti to load in the Alienware GA and waiting out for Cannon Lake.

What about the Step Up Program? While other companies don't offer anything like it you could buy a 10 series now and if within 90 days something new hits the market step up to it.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.
