It should read 1251. Your memory is currently running at 9600 which is close to the rated speed of the memory chips (10000).

I installed precision x and finally back on 5000 mhz memory and 100fps .Big thanks to this epic friendly community to help noob like me.Only one last question. When i installed precision x the fan speed was defaultly set to manual and 0rmp so i changed to automat and set agressive curve. But thats mean if i dont use precision x or any other soft the fans stay at 0rpm in full load like it was set as default? Thanks again guys

Yes the fan curve will only work with pxoc running. Without it the fans are controlled by the vbios. Master bios prob has the fans off at idle till a certain temp is reached.. which I dont like cause then your card is really hot and working hard to cool.. insted of always running and keeping the temp down before it's already cooking.

I normally game (when I had an air cooled card) at the max fan speed I could bear. So for me.. 100% fans hehe. But others may want 75-90%.

So I say atleast 40% fans at idle till temps rise when gaming.. which will usually be around 40-45c. From there on let them do there job. So crank them sooner then later to help keep the temps in check.

Now you'll have to download nvflash and open a command prompt window and know some basic dos commands to change the directory to the nvflash folder which has the new bios and type in a certain command string to flash the bios.

Or you can just drag the .rom file into Nvflash...I don't know why most folks don't know that old trick. If you're flashing a compatible ROM, all you need to do is click and drag the ROM file and 'drop' it into NvFlash.exe and it will launch the utility.

I guess I'm not old enough to know that at 45! Haha j/k. Elite tips that never make it to YouTube I guess.

Whoops! I was thinking 1080 Ti instead of 1080.

On the old EVGA forum I had quite detailed flashing guide, troubleshooting guides..etc similar to what are posted now. Troubleshooting steps don't change. Just the audience that isn't aware of them, yet. But sure, for flashing the easiest thing is just to create a folder and put all your rom files and NvFlash there. Changing BIOS is then only a few seconds as long as you don't need to use any flags. And even if you do, putting the folder on the root drive or a root folder, makes running commands simpler.

Yup, where I've put mine.

Anyways what I've experianced last time I've flashed my 1080ti is that you need to do the unlock code first before you can write the new bios.

Were you running as admin and what version of NvFlash were you using? You shouldn't have to do that.

No idea of the version.. out and about now. Was the write up that Sajin had.. write protect is the word I'm looking for. Write protect off command was needed first.

I unzip nvflash to c:/nvflash and put .rom to same folder and then just drag the .rom folder and drop it to nvflash64, then i was pressing y and saw some error message on that command lines but it was so fast. After restart i have vbios which i wanted and everything seems to be ok so dont know what that error message mean 🤔
