I've got a quick question.. I purchased 2 460GTX's 768-P3-1360-XX
yesterday with the 70.04.0B.00.66 BIOS on them.. do I need to flash those or are they already up to date..?

There's a very, very simple way to test, if someone can do the update or not: try change fanspeed lower than 40% or higher than 70%. If it's possible, than no update is necessary and if it's not possible to change, than it's still old version.

There probably done with FPB BIOS Updates. EVGA felt confident that all their cards cards would handle the conservative 720 overclock, so all stock cards owners reap the  spoils.

At this point, they will only release another BIOS update, if they find a flaw in their current BIOS.

With which browser did you try it? Because with IE all downloads work great.

Flashing with approved Bios supplied by EVGA will not void any warranty ,(bricking is extremely RARE but possible if done wrong)

Putting Bios not compatible (EVGA approved/supplied for your card )voids warranty if returned to them for RMA work .

(worst case being you flash your card with wrong bios and then your not able to flash back to the correct bios to send the card back to EVGA for  RMA warranty work)

Hello, I have some problems installing the FPB on my EVGA GTX 460. I downloaded the correct version and tried to install it, but somehow the cmd window pops up and says it's searching for a updateable card and then it just closes.

My P/N is correct and I've tried it as an admin too.

Please help

You probably already have the update. Just test to see if you can set your fanspeed to 100%, if so, you got it.

You know whats funny?I can put it to 100% in precision, but I have to do it twice for it to stick.I think theres something wrong with the new version 2.0.0 of precision.

That was the problem. I couldn't get to it with Chrome for some reason. Worked fine with Firefox though.
