It is faster than a 690 and cheaper too. For those already considering dual GPU solutions, this would make a lot more sense.

Who knows? Only Nvidia! Glad to see you guys are picking up on the hint to not let rumors make fools of you. It is really sad how the "guesimation" of $899 from the sweclockers source turned into an expected nVidia MSRP, but that is how the story generates itself from something made up. I even predicted that someone would find a way to test out a Tesla K20/K20X and immorally present it as a "Titan" or "GTX780", you never know really.

There is nothing about that screenshot that indicates it could be a GTX 780, more likely to be some kind of dual GPU card (690) or 2 GTX 680's in SLI.

Regardless of if its true or not, if it matches the performance of a GTX690 I will buy one without a doubt. Less than that is questionable.

If you can believe it, this whole thing started because of this. Someone took the mention of "GeForce GK110" in parenthesis to be a confirmation-- as if EK was in the loop.

AMD did just release there new card to not long ago. Maybe nvidia wanted to release some king of halfway card to reclaim the crown before they release there 7xx.
I highly doubt this but meh :P

Thats a complete load of crap. the GK100 never got released in any form, even after all the money that got put into it. You dont put money into something like that and not release it. GK100 never was ready for use in any market. It took them what 8 months to get the GK110 ready for the tesla market and even then they had yeild issues. They did not release the GK100 not because AMD offering "sucked" the did not release cause there was no possible way to and they got lucky that AMD was "weak" this go round otherwise they would be hurting.
