It is possible Samsung might show off  the S4 behind closed doors at the Mobile Congress in Barcelona next week but Samsung will no doubt want to have their own event for this release. The timing of this is planned very well to try and upset Apple's next generation iPhone launch. Samsung makes their own CPUs, their own memory, and a majority of the components so I also expect a lower price point than anything Apple can offer.

I completely agree. With mobile phones the challenge is to try and maximize power while at the same time not zapping too much life out of the battery with a true multi-core CPU. The main thing I'm looking for is a better larger screen, better battery life, more memory. I think the S4 will probably hit most of those marks.

Im happy with my Nexus 4.

 
Hope the battery lasts longer on the S4 than it does on my S2. Battery life is pretty sad on my phone.

Ah yea, the conference where nothing but the s4 is expected at.  It's amazing how much more samsung leaks their phone specs than say apple.

The new HTC One will have a Micro SD slot but I don't think the battery is replaceable

Its not a true OctoCore.
 
Its actually just a Quad Core that switches between high performance Quad and to lower power Quad.

No, it wont have a Micro SD slot either.

if i can get my hands on an HTC one and make it work with verizon, thats gonna be my new phone. HTC has always been good to me. not much of a fan of the build quality on the samsungs

Just curious, what don't you like about the build quality of Samsungs? My friend has an HTC One S and I don't prefer it at all over the feel of my S3. Of course it's all opinion, I'm just curious about what you don't like

Samsung's feel cheap.  Very plasticky and nothing about it feels that solid but the screen.

< Galaxy Nexus owner and Focus.

The Nexus was a cheap phone overall and I've never even heard of the focus. Maybe they upped their game with the S3.

Same here the s4 looks nice but nothing could replace my note 2, except the note 3. Note 2 is definitely with out a doubt the best phone ive ever owned.
