considering there is only 50 watts of room on the card don't expect much OC..ie 20% at best
if they do offer a Classified or extreme version in a few month expect the extra 8 pin to be used (2x 150+75) or (2x150+75+75)
375 watt or 450 watt

but that would depend on AMD's response to the titan
(and we all know exactly how AMD been on Sea islands)

On the contrary. Have you seen Precision 4.0?

200% Power Limit, 99C Temp Limit. And an Overvoltage button that we still don't know what happens when clicking it with a Titan in your system

So, I see these as OC'ing like a beast     (i hope)

Funny how that works.... the real hardcore builders get screwed and the stupid reselling trolls slip through the cracks and monopolize the supply.

Fudzilla has some official slides out. The rumored price tag doesn't come as a shocker, but I don't care $999 is simply asinine!

So still waiting on the benchmarks and official release at retail date

Also anyone notice that this card is probably not gonna be able to do Quad SLI?  All these release from nvidia is showing the highest group being Tri and none of them doing Quad.

They mentioned ARES II I don't know how many time... and they will still have strongest graphic card....and...  NOOO, that's not truth, after NVIDIA launch Titan I think that card will stay strongest single card and after realesed next AMD series 8xxx and NVIDIA next series Titan will stay like card for comparasion how they are close to Titan for both... And they know that and they not have answer on Titan Chip vs Chip. That is for them like 3960X or very close...

If NVIDIA decide to push Titan how they can with drivers lucky rich customers can thanks to good because they have money for such chip.

Thought so, you won't be able to Quad SLI it.

and with a MSRP of 999.99 forget it.  At 900 or 799 I could have swinging it but at 1k I don't think I can.

Yep, $1k? Too far out there for me. I was pretty hyped about this, but I can see why Nvidia wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot with something like this. Now, I just want to see some REAL benchmarks and not a graph comparing effectiveness.

Ryan's video explains a lot.

GTX Titan is temperature overclocking, allows voltage overclocking, GPU boost 2.0 will meet fan speed vs boost vs temperature.

I'd have liked to have gotten one, but I can't justify $1000 for a video card. I was willing to swing $700 or so, but phew. I know to some, $1k is a drop in the bucket.

The crazy thing is I would think about paying $700 for this card, or $1400 for two, and that is still crazy for me.  I will wait 8 months and buy the 780 for $500 and that should* perform much faster than this card.

But damn that card looks sweet.

Considering many expected this to be the 680 a year ago... yeah its expensive. I am tempted. It will be a tough call for me.

I cant knock anything on it except the price, but I also feel the 690 is too much as well. These cards should be $7-$800. looks like you can OC it as well. Too bad EVGA most likely wont be able to customize it.

Think about it.  With the 1K price point...that keeps the 600 series prices right where they are.  Also controls the "supposed" 10K of inventory for Titan.  Nvidia is in the driver's seat, with little or no competition.  Competition is good for the customer...keeps quality higher and prices lower.
