EVGA has been teasing its flagship GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Kingpin graphics card for well over a month now, and we've finally had a chance to pick one up in the flesh. This card is every professional overclocker's liquid-cooled wet-dream, with a PCB designed with inputs from Vince "Kingpin" Lucido, and a hybrid AIO-CLC cooling solution. The PCB features a 19-phase VRM that pulls power from three 8-pin PCIe power connectors located at the tail end of the card. The CLC makes contact with the GPU, while a copper base-plate, mated with several copper heatsinks over the memory and VRM areas, offload some of their heat to the block. A 100 mm fan ventilates some of these heatsinks.
A 120 mm radiator is on the other end of the card's CLC. This time around, the cooler actually serves a significant function besides being something you rip apart to install your LN2 evaporator: the shroud is studded with an LCD display with a limited feature-set resembling that of the EVBot. Right next to this LCD are diagnostic LEDs, voltage measurement points, a BIOS selector switch, and headers for a full-featured EVBot-like device. The GPU and memory chips are hand-binned for this card, and most of its electrical components are sourced from top bins. These come together for an ungodly amount of overclocking headroom not just with exotic DIY cooling, but also out of the box. Source

Jesus. This kill me, literary. Nicest K|NGP|N. I can say maybe even nicest after GTX580 Classified ULTRA. So smart decision to give amazing temps for OC Out of Box. This is exactly what most customers needs. I would like to see and waterblock available, but she is perfect out of box. EVGA CLC240 with Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM, EVGA RTX2080Ti K|NGP|N and peace in case. No one complain on heat. Installing cables on back of GPU is very good idea, simply easier for customers and look much more clean. I'm so jealous on some people who will hold sealed box of EVGA X299 Dark and EVGA RTX2080Ti K|NGP|N soon, together. 2000$ worth hardware for elite of enthusiasts. I need to chase some used cards from old generation and to be happy when I discover some good option. Hahahaaa

Look much better than GTX1080Ti K|NGP|N. You see these small fine made honeycomb grill, every EVGA fan only to see them will know it's EVGA GPU. Beautiful small details. This model completely change situation and make Turing more interesting and more worth of investment. This was first year that I didn't saw attractive model available from 10 brands... There was a very cool cards, but something special really missed. RTX2080Ti not worth 1200$, but RTX2080Ti K|NGP|N worth 1500$. 2K is enough to switch from X99 to X299 Dark and K|NGP|N. EVGA X299 Dark + K|NGP|N, leave memory, sell processor and motherboard and buy i9-9800X, enough.

I wonder what the OC guarantee will be on this card...maybe 2100/8000?

2100 peak guaranteed or 2100 sustained? Thats not that good. My 2080ti ultra would get 2115 before i sold it and it was $1300 with much less power draw. Would need 2200 to even be somewhat interested as you might basically upgrade from FTW3 and find no performance difference

2080 Ti seems like one card that could benefit from a massively over-engineered pcb. I’m being quite serious.
A high end thermal and voltage regulation was a nice-to-have on pascal. Could see some drastic real-world benefits here.
I used to mine. Now I compute.

I really love the fact that Steve constantly reminds people that the K|ngo|n and Dark are meant for extreme overclocking, and not intended for daily use... as in they cost so much for a reason. Sadly, people will not focus on the fact of what they are meant for, and will pay the extra price for maybe 2-3fps extra..

Good luck with that. Especially since you don't like to flash custom vbios's to your cards & you changed your mind for a set of hydro coppers. Also my comments about getting the 2080 Ti kingpin before the post I linked was before we knew it was going to be released in a hybrid flavor.

FTW3 Hydro Coppers Changing the Bios is a Cheat IMO But I still have them on my List for my Tax Return Looks Like A Single Slot when used with the EVGA Hydro Copper Water Block

T hose who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. So I'm glad to see that this has a one-slot I/O design, which makes me hopeful that this will exist in a Hydro Copper version. Also surprised to see the EVbot support; I thought they discontinued that and dropped support for it long ago. What I don't like is the power connectors on the end of the card. Doesn't look as neat for cable routing.
