FTW3 Ultra 3080. Fan 3 not spinning?

Just finished my new build, and was doing some observing in Precision X1 and noticed that Fan 3 was not spinning at all, nor could I make it spin through X1. What's the cause?

Yes, I have latest GeForce Driver (457.30) and latest PX1 Driver (1.1.1.0).

    Are you using 1.1.1 or 1.1.0.11 on Precision X1?  The 1.1.0.11 has fan control issues, which were resolved in the updated version now available on eVGA's page for Precision.
     
    Does the fan spin if you exit Precision X1 with the "auto" fan thing selected?

    Version 1.1.1.0. And no, fan just stays immobile.

    Switch the OC/Normal VBIOS switch on the side of the card to OC and reboot (required to load that VBIOS). This will set the minimum fan speed to 33% for all fans, and if the third fan still isn't spinning you should contact EVGA: https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

    Did you have any luck with this issue, I have the exact same problem...

    Intel Core 10700K, Z490 Aorus Elite AC v.1.0, GSkill 32GB 3000/CL14, EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra, Corsair HX1200, Dell S2721DGF, DRP4, Be Quiet SW3 140mm pwm high speed x4, Be Quiet 500DX, Samsung NVME 970 Evo Plus 1TB, Samsung SATA 860 Evo 1TB

    I can't PM you back since I don't have enough activity on the forums yet.

    But yes, the problem seems to be fixed. I'm not entirely sure how, or if it was just a graphical error within Precision X1. Because I had version 1.1.1.0 the entire time, and it was at first showing that Fan 3 wasn't spinning and now it is. I had done a fresh install of Precision X1, but like I said - regardless it was on version 1.1.1.0. But it perhaps did "fix" the issue.
     
    Furthermore, as of now my card runs great. Paired with an NZXT C850 PSU. No issues at all whatsoever other than that fan "issue."

    Just to confirm please: Thats version 1.1.1 of 11/06/2020 right? And you paired it with NVIDIA driver 457.30? (latest driver).
     
    Thanks a lot, still looking but I am almost sure this is a software issue but have yet to tackle it.

    I fixed my problem with DDU uninstall the nvidia graphics driver and clean install and clean install of latest X1. Everything works fine now many thanks.
