I cant update my VBIOS, the X1 dont do anything when i click update, anyone have the same problem?

Blah. I had a 3070 FTW3 Ultra in my rig, 5900x, MSI X570 Tomahawk. Updated drivers, updated vbios, turned on resizable in MB bios. Resizable BAR enabled. Mad success. Happy dance. GG everyone.
Queue number came up and I got a 3090 XC3 Hybrid. Yay more fps here I come. Swapped the 3070 into slot 2 on mb. Install 3090. No resizable bar. No more dancing. Uninstall drivers, Use DDU to uninstall, take out 3070 completely. Beat head on wall. No resizable bar. Turn on and off in bios. flash beta bios, No joy. Whats odd is Precision shows gpu 1 is still 3070 and gpu 2 is 3090. 3070 still shows resizable bar is enabled. My OCD wants gpu 1 to be 3090 and gpu 2 to be 3070 and I wonder if that is part od the issue. Anyone have any ideas?
With just the 3090 installed: Unintlstall PX1. Reboot. Reinstall PX1
No joy on that run. I even uninstalled MSI afterburner too at the same time. Resizable bar still not enabled. Put the 3070 back in the lower slot on my MB and it still shows as gpu1 as soon as is start X1. Crap.

What bios is the 3070 xc3 ultra supposed to be on for this to work. System keeps telling me to update firmware but does nothing when I push the button. Thanks

I have flashed the MB Bios first, after that the VBIOS for Asus RTX Strix and after that new drivers. Worked. I was lucky I got the Strix card and did not need to hustle up with PX1 software crap.

Has anyone noticed lower performance on this new bios , I just tested horizon zero down and noticed about 20 FPS lower on average with this bios (rebar enabeld ) never had such an issue before I've had the card since October FtW3 3080 Ultra here

Same here. This x1 software is terrible. A simply vbios download file would be the better solution.

All these Bios should be moved to the front page so everyone doesn't have to sift through 14 pages to find theirs. I haven't missed the XOC 1000w Kingpin bios have I?

I'm happy to see this post, I have the exact same issue. I only found yours after posting (see above). I guess they forgot to include the vBios for this card or something. /Edit: Fixed by flashing vBios manually. See post below.

is it posible to get only the vBIOS for my RTX3070 XC3? In past i got so many bad results with EVGA Precision X1, broken FAN curves e.g.
And i dont wont to install that software. So is it possible only the get the bios for 08G-P5-3755-KR?

Me again... Dear Jacob, maybe there is some solution for 3rd fan issue on FTW3 U?
Yeah, it even starts with a delay, and 1.1.8.1 shows 0% on it on the right side of the "fan"page, but monitor that simultaneously as 36% and around 1100 RPM. 2 others are 37% and 1100+ RPM. All the 3 were 34% and 1000 before the update.
Is that RBAR update problem or what?

Re-BAR isn't enabled for 3DMark, your 300 point gain came from elsewhere.

Just for information, I had my board BIOS updated in early March, (GB TRX40 AORUS XTREME), and had everything,(resize BAR, 4G encoding, CSM off, etc...) already turned on since that day. Kept checking TechPowerUp almost daily... So then came VBIOS update day, I first tried updating the drivers for the 2 x EVGA 3090 FTW Ultras in SLI / NVLink to 461.92 first, only to learn on Forums that I should update X1 1.1.8. also. Got the wrong version somewhere and it kept looking for a 3080 FTW. So de-installed X1 and noticed in guru that the new driver 465.89 has just been uploaded minutes before. So did the DDU dance and installed the new driver. Checked the Forums again and got the correct X1 1.1.8 installed, it did a Firmware update correctly and seemed good. I didn't do a reboot and kept getting the long black screen when updating the VBIOS. But remembered to hit any key to abort. Did this twice with the same results and then just rebooted the machine. After the re-boot opened X1 and tried the VBIOS update again and it went off without a hitch, both cards updated and everything showing green in X1, and Yes in NVCP.
Seems to have improved stability in all games.

Not quite sure the cause of it but the LED's on my 3090 Hybrid turned off during the vbios update and are remaining off. The only LED's staying on are the fan and the top backplate EVGA logo. 3090 FTW3 Hybrid if that matters at all. Not that big of a deal just slightly obnoxious seeing a it half dark and half lit heh.

Good luck and low temps! The crazy thing is my previous best was with a much lower ambient temp (like 10C lower). We happened to have a cooler morning down here, but it was no way as cold as when I set my last best.

Same problem as other people, I have a RTX 3070 ULTRA XC3, I did everything right but I can't update my graphics VBIOS (version: 94.04.25.80.6A) in Precision X1. Can someone help please? Edit : fixed by flashing manually the vbios (link in page 3)

Division 2, force enabled Rebar. 89fps to 93fps, 4k, 3090. 3dmark Port royal, force enabled Rebar. 14879 to 15130. not sure whats going on with my GPU, my previous best was 14583 before today.

Anybody seen a working 3090 ftw3 hybrid XOC 500w w/reBAR bios for new revision cards? Any files I’ve been sent get a no display adapter compatible message.

Im not sure if ReBar is something that the game needs to support like dlss. It just allows the CPU direct access to the GPU memory as much as I know and I dont think the game needs to support it so it should work with all games. Might be wrong tho. Also I have not been able to enable it because whenever I do system doesnt boot up so I just leave it off at the BIOS, I havent been able to test it myself.

I just downloaded the VBAR Update exe for 24G-P5-3975-KR and it worked, i now got the XC3 bios on my ftw3 with resizable bar enabled. Bumped my PR score to 14800 from 14500 with same oc settings.
EDIT: Cant post links or answer to PMs yet, look for Post #69 from Jacob, thats the one i used
Can you please share the vbios?
Im not allowed to post links yet. Look into the ftw3 xoc bios thread, page 108 Post #3215 for a detailed Guide and the vbios i used, then download the .exe Flash tool from Jacobs post #69 from this thread. In you followed the guide and did/do not use px1 everything should just work out fine and the flash tool should detect your Card as a xc3 and Flash the new vbar bios.

Just as an update got mine working for resizable bar, I had to force my pcie to only accept gen 4. That is really the only setting u changed outside of toggling things off and on. That was for the Asus strix b550-f. Hope this helps save someone like 5 hours like it took me lol. Thanks evga support for the manual bios upgrade.

Hey Jacob, I used the link for the 3070 XC3 Ultra you posted earlier, 08G-P5-3755-KR, however it appears to have modified the power limit of the card. Before I could go up to 270W at 111% PL, now I am stuck at 108% PL at 250W. Rebar is working, but the loss of OC headroom is sad.
We are aware of this and will have an updated VBIOS shortly.
