How much performance enabling it brings on nVidia cards?

eh the k|ngp|n card has 3 BIOS, there's literally 0 chance you'd kill it.

Hi all, have a question about resizable bar support with older DX9 games. I read some random posts online that if you have it enabled with some older DX9 games, they might not start or might just crash while playing. Anyone playing older DX9 games and using resize bar? One of my fav games is Guild Wars 2 been there since the 1st beta :) Looks good still but it's DX9 just curious if I should enable it or just leave it off. I'm waiting for nvidia to have some sort of enable or disabled option in their drivers it's  a pain to keep going into the bios to do that.

No issues playing DX9 Wrath of the Lich King with my rebar enabled 3090 FTW3 (a private server). I've not tried other DX9 games as of yet.

Ah thank you, good to hear. I might give it a go today or tomorrow with the bios flash :)

Currently it's only enabled for a dozen or less games. NVIDIA's cards automatically do this with current drivers.

Yeah I saw the list of games, not a lot now but I'm sure more in the future will be added.  If you have resize bar enabled then yeah it should show up in their drivers. But if you want to turn it off for example maybe it's casuing an issue with a certain game, you have to go in the bios to do that. We need a more simple option that's built in to the nvidia control, to turn it on and off from there.

Not sure if evga has control on customs. Just be patient. Past 2 years have been crazy. Covid has really messed up things.

EVGA Europe only have to send the documents to TNT Germany but they don't !

I have been watching the posts here and on other technical sites, and I can tell there are some gains in some games.  But, I am scared to death to update my VBIOS.  My mobo already had the REBAR support, but since my K|NGP|NG is working - I'm "a-scared" .  I do have the option of the 3090 FTW Gaming I have sitting on the shelf right now as a back up, but man - I'd hate to brick my beautiful card.  There are sites that list what games have seen gains, and how much of a gain.  I'm just not sure its worth it yet, since I'm really just a casual gamer now.

If you're a casual gamer brother, don't even worry about it. Honestly it's not gonna be life changing. There will be gains, but your not going to be like falling out of your chair as if you won the publishers clearing house million dollar prize with excitement. So yeah, you got the right Idea, just kick back and game as usual.

Does this work with AMD Ryzen CPUs yet or do Nvidia RTX cards only do ReBar with Intel CPUs?

Havent checked here in a few weeks. Did EVGA push any update for the 3080 FTW3 to fix the always-on FAN issue after the firmware upgrade?

I am very hesitant on flashing the vBIOS on any graphics card in case the update process doesn't complete successfully and the card has to be RMA'd.  And with the low supply of replacement cards, who knows how long it would be until a replacement could be sent.

ok so here is my problem on version 1.1.8 of percision X resizable bar works with no issues... but if i use 1.1.9 of percision X its says my mainboard isnt supported ?!?! 
 
 
any one has this problem aswell?

Just a total guess, but maybe you need to update the BIOS on your motherboard itself?  Also, did you reach out to EVGA support?  If so, what did they say?
