ChillinZX I'll see if I can snag a couple 3080Ti's at launch, if not I'll wait for 40 series. I'm not dealing with this 30 gen bs anymore.
I hear there is yet another month delay on the 3080ti, so May?

I can almost guarantee you that it's delayed until May, unless it's released during a month other than May.

zeeesooor It's painful waiting with no GPU, I'm still using my integrated gpu after my zotac gpu got burned 4 weeks ago. And now I'm still waiting the queue and it takes for ever and can't even play anything.

Good luck with that. Probably going to be the same situation when it comes to the 3080ti as well

The word I've heard is that May is when they're "launching" as in "announcing" it so it may be still many months away if that is the case. Let's hope not. I just want to get in the queue for the 3080 Ti T_T

Assuming a 3080 Ti does happen (april, may, whenever). When would the notify queue for the EVGA models open up? Do they put up a product page the moment Nvidia makes the official announcement? Does it happen on the day that Nvidia says is the first day that it's going to be available for purchase? Some random day in between? How did it work for the previous models? Just want to know what to pay attention to in order to increase my chances of signing up on the first day. Thanks.

3090 xc3 hybrids haven't moved in quite some time that I am aware of. I managed to pick one up in early december. EVGA seems to be focusing on the FTW3 lineup.

nomoss Interesting article on the GPU shortage: https://www.pcworld.com/article/3612693/a-perfect-storm-why-graphics-cards-cost-so-much-now.html
The key takeaway for me was the idea of using a cloud gaming service in place of a GPU while waiting for your queue notify. Testing it on my work computer (just Intel graphics) and it's not too bad. Definitely need to test it some more today instead of doing actual work.
Well, the key take away for me was the 50,000 GPUs YTD (when article was written) sold on the bay and stock-x (whatever that is). An average “profit” of (very modest) $300 per card equates to $15,000,000 US. Now, I can’t fault people to try to make a quick buck, but let’s make no mistake, if folks are buying those up, which they clearly are, they’re the enablers in this equation. How this all relates to the queue is simple. The queue gives you a choice of two things; do you want to join the enablers and pay a premium to get your card now, or do you have the luxury and patience to wait however many months to get a card at MSRP?

For the 3060's the queue opened up at time of launch, so 9AM PST. And the site performance tanked, so prepare to have a lot of tabs trying to load the product pages to get into the queue early. took me over 20 minutes to get in :/

Callintz96 Hi to all, this is my first post so I'm sorry if I'm doing something wrong... EU (Italian) user btw. Anyway, I'm here to say that yesterday I was apparently been able to order a 3060ti xc, subscribed to the notification on 7/12/20 I also have a FTW3 subscription for the same day. Paid yesterday with PayPal, shout out to evga for having asked the original price I know they made a post on January to say that, but still it's much appreciated. Order is still "Waiting to process", but I've received through PayPal this morning the shipping code of DHL which is already active despite the package not been shipped, so, I'm here to ask two things: 1) There will be other costs, like customs cost? 22% IVA is already paid... 2) Anyone knows how much it takes to arrive? I'm not in a hurry, just curiosity. Thanks in advance for your help =)
Congratulations on your card. Here is what I have known from other experiences: 1) There should be no extra costs, if the company tries to extort you extra fees contact EVGA. 2) Around 1 week or 2 depending on post bottleneck and if customs wants to have a look, here you may have to present your proof of purchase so they can see you already payed tax. And no, it does go by boat, Suez drifting shennigans have no influece on us (yet) Finally, can I can ask that you copy here your timestamps? You can find those on https://eu.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp it helps the community to locate how far off the queue is, we don't have that much information on the european queues.

coldrain85 I tend to lean on information that comes directly from the source. In this case, Nvidia. The rest of it is just noise. I don't care what some blogger named "Darklord", or whoever it was in that link that someone posted, says about chip delays unless they provide some links (they didn't). There is a lot of misinformation out there. A lot of spin, and predictions based on assumptions by people who don't actually have information that nobody else has (even though they claim to). Nvidia said it would be bad until into Q2 2021. Let's see how it goes until then. I expect them to put out another press release between now and the start of summer. If they say it's time to freak out, I'll freak out. Otherwise, I'm going to exercise patience and wait until I hear something from those who are actually making the chips that will be attached to the GPU that I eventually get. The automobile chip shortage is very real problem in the short term, and I don't think anyone here is going to refute that. Fortunately, it sounds like it's more of a concern for auto manufacturers vs. GPU seekers.
One minute of Google'ing will yield plenty of information from reliable/credible sources: 03/23/21 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3A4yk-P5ukY https://www.pcmag.com/new...00-gpus-have-decreased
03/24/21 https://game-debate.com/news/30457/rtx-30-series-graphics-card-shortages-may-be-due-to-low-gpu-yields-from-samsung https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/following-asus-and-others-msi-to-increase-prices-for-graphics-cards.html https://www.pcgamer.com/asus-suggests-nvidia-graphics-card-supply-problems-are-down-to-low-gpu-yields/ https://www.tomshardware.com/news/msi-plans-graphics-card-price-increases-2021
Thanks for taking the time to post these links. Unfortunately, there is no new information in any of them, and they even make it clear that they are GUESSING. The ASUS shareholders are doing the same thing.... guessing. They are all waiting for Nvidia to say something just like I am. None of these internet bloggers have access to inside information. None of them know what's going on right now any more than you or me, or anyone else who reads up on this topic. They are just rehashing old news and making vague predictions, not that there is anything wrong with that. When there is new information from the source, any blogger worth their salt will provide a link. We haven't seen any of that for months now, so of course the speculation is going off the rails. I have read all kinds of crazy stuff here. Conspiracy theories about Nvidia holding back chips. Conspiracy theories about GPU makers scalping their own cards. Speculation based on speculation. The latest one yesterday was, "Realistically, anyone signing up after early January isn't likely to get a card this year through the queue". That's all kinds of wrong. I'm tired of all the misinformation and pessimism. It wasn't a personal attack, but that poster took it very personally and got upset when I challenged his statement. Yes, cards are moving slowly, but c'mon, it's an awful big stretch to tell someone with a January time stamp that they might as well hibernate until 2022. There is no information out there that points to it being THAT bad, not right now at least. Again, we all have the same information, and if someone claims to have information that nobody else has, they need to name their source or they are just talking out their you know what. Here is a piece of news that has not really been discussed here. The article below is a month old, but the water shortage that it points to could become a major short term issue pretty soon here if Taiwan can't source enough water to make chips. Immersion lithography requires a massive amount of water. One chip manufacturer in another article that I read said that while the plant recycles 85% of it's water, it still needs to source 40 million gallons of water per day. The odds of a drought persisting in that part of the world is pretty small, so I'm not going to waste my time worrying about an unlikely event. One season without any typhoon action is rare. Two is unheard of. One of my students is from Taiwan and is there right now. He said it's really unusual for it to be this dry. He lives on the north side of the island and he said the reservoirs there are in better shape than the southern part of the island, some of which are down to 10% of capacity. https://www.pcgamer.com/t...y-taiwan-water-crisis/

For what it's worth, I recently sent a package from California to Innsbruck, Austria using DHL. It took 7 days using economy shipping. Packages that I have sent there in the past typically take 5-7 days. It's a similar distance, but what I don't know is how long Italian customs takes to process inbound packages. BovineGamer is right. If you already paid IVA you should not have to pay any other fees.
