honestly lol. Enewt is putting in the work and it is extremely helpful*, wont use anyone else’s code tbh
And I’m amazed by his restraint from any engagements/entanglements. 🙄 🤪
* Bolded for emphasis.
We are all here passing the time waiting for our "invite to purchase" emails. Opinions can run hot from time to time, but I want to believe until demonstrated otherwise that we are all coming from a place grounded in good faith and goodwill. I view us as a community...almost a team. And we should celebrate when folks get their good news and we should commiserate when things go sideways, etc. That, at least, is how I view this effort. And I continue to be thankful for everybody who constructively participates to this community -- in big and small ways. My watch would be SOOOO much worse were it not for all of you. In other news, I am open to recommendations for other pre-pandemic shows that are heavy on restaurant/food scenes. (please don't judge me...too harshly.)
I recommend "Chef's Table" and "Street Food" series on Netflix. Chef's Table is incredibly well done and addicting to watch...
Midnight Diner I think it is called. Japanese show, where the guy opens at Midnight and will cook what ever you want if he has ingredients or you can bring your own stuff. Mostly human interest stories with the diner as the focal point. Had a really good feel to it, a place I would like to have in walking distance. One story about old power rangers style show and actors now, next a High Energy Researcher falls in love.

Looks like I'm getting close on a 3060. I'd rather get at 3060TI or a 3070, but I'll take a 3060 now rather than wait for a better card.

I was in your exact same scenario. Still in queue for the 60Ti though and today's movement definitely helps to keep our hopes up!

You are a braver man than I. His mind works so quickly, I doubt I could hang with him beyond my opening: "You named your car models to spell out the word "SEXY, huh?" And my follow up, "Ford's lawyers suck, eh?" Yup, I am going to leave hanging with Mr. Musk to you.

My wife's father is like 80 something now. We haven't been back to Oakland to visit him since the pandemic hit. But he is wild. He loves to dance. That korean rapper, Psy? My really old father-in-law loves Gangnam Style. He says it's the kind of music you just have to move your body to. Why do I mention it? I think Musk is like him. He hears things, and he moves to them. I have several pocket conversations I'd have with elongate. Simulations, multiverses, your cars are sick. Boring company? LOL.

Don't forget about the flame thrower...starting with that will be sure to warm up the conversation. Man, I wish I had 20% of Psy's energy or that I could dance like BTS. Your father-in-law sounds like a kick ass grandpa (or grandpa to be)!

I haven't seen those reports. I hope you are correct. There do not appear to be a lot of registrations at this point in the timeline for the card so one or two folks who don't report could have my (conservative) summary lagging by a bit. Hopefully we will get a report tomorrow and can catch-up. The last thing I want to do is get ahead of the head of the queue and have folks get confused about whether they've been skipped.

I'm kind of confused about how this all works with "drops" and such. I setup auto-notify for the 3070 XC3 Black Gaming on 10/29, and now that day is listed on your document. I haven't received a notification yet. What does it mean?

What is your timestamp on that day? You can find your timestamp here: North America: https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp Europe: https://eu.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp Please note that my table only addresses North America. BovineGamer has an EU table (link to it in my signature).

Time stamp on the notify is 1:38:15 PM PT. Is it because the drops are coming out so slowly that even people on the same day might get notifications on entirely different days due to a few hours difference?

Yes. A card's queue can go months on the same day of the timeline. For example, the 3070 XC3 Black timeline is still in the first twenty minutes after it launched on 10/29. Unfortunately, you still have a considerable time to wait. I am sorry I don't have better news.
