When I get the 3080 Hybrid I'm sticking the rad to the top of my case.
For exhaust, that is definitely a strong choice (perhaps the strongest).
Yeah, that's what I'm seeing. I hope my CPU cooler doesn't get in the way. I think there's enough room, though. #crossesfingers
I measured mine and it won't fit in my current case. Trying to find a bigger case. It's not easy by just looking at pictures online.
I just bought a different case as well (Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL Silver), just since my previous h440 (1st gen) had terrible airflow and almost no space for anything...
It's perfect for multiple AIO setups and an absolute beauty in both aesthetics and craftsmanship (yea...everyone and their mom has the dynamic, but it's for good reason lol).
That's my favorite case (in white) -- and the one I have that is waiting for my card.... It will fit two AIOs but tough to get the front/side AIO's tubes to come from the bottom and reach the CPU (given the RAM (unless maybe low profile RAM)). I ended up prepping the case for the CPU AIO on top (exhaust) and GPU AIO on the front/side (intake). Both in push/pull set ups. Not optimal (GPU intake), but I am going to run it that way for a bit (once I get my card) and see how it performs.

I wish I could have been confident with the chances of getting a hybrid, but with the way my luck has been I bought the air cooled 3090 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING (not through the queue). The 3090 can pump out some heat 🔥, so now I’m trying to figure out whether to mount it horizontally or vertically.
If you have M.2 drives, it's actually better to mount vertically, if you can space it from the side of the case enough, because horizontally mounted, the slot-side of the GPU is going to be venting very hot air on to your M.2 areas. I have a dedicated 120mm fan blowing air over mine to compensate & my M.2 that's under the GPU still hits 40-45C while gaming, and that's with the stupid-level of airflow my case has.
Hoping for everyone we get some sizeable drops today & these queues get some serious movement before Christmas time rolls around!
I am awaiting an AMD 5800x to arrive (couldn’t get a 5900x 🥺) for my Asus TUF B550 Gaming that’ll go in my new Thermaltake Level 20 RS case (that supports vertical installation) and already have in hand a 500GB PCIe 4.0 M.2 drive, so I might check out getting a PCIe 4.0 flex cable. Just in case.

If you have some time on your hands, give some Gamers Nexus case reviews a look, Steve is about your average sized human, so you can use him to compare the size of the case  but seriously, they have general "best & worst" case videos for the year, and very in depth reviews on several high end & lower end (price wise) cases that are still great quality. Somethin' for everyone. They never reviewed my case  I wonder why:

TBH I would get the Hybrid - RGB bar being smaller aside, it will clock better because of running cooler, less noise, etc - but it is a choice ya gotta make once your place in line is called :-D PinkPanther7

Why are the computer demons visiting me today of all days.
First Cyberpunk hard-freezes my PC (I'm running at stock CPU even, so that really makes no sense), Reliability Report says LiveKernelEvent reason for the crash (which I think is driver issues - but I had zero problems yesterday so?????????)... I reboot, start playing again and the system full on resets itself mid-scene which has literally never happened to this machine before unless something was overheating or I was running an unstable OC.
I shut down, checked all the connections because I was rearranging stuff and it's possible something might've been shorting out - everything was good, so now I'm back for round 3. If it does this again this is not a good sign from the computer gawds about how this new GPU is gonna go when it's not even here yet & my PC is actin' a fool.
I'm going to set so that even my GPU isn't running anything but stock, no undervolt, and see if anything happens, guess my next step if it does it again will be to wipe my drivers & do a fresh install of them... hoping something didn't brick my Windows.
What are your temps on your GPU under load and idle? Sometimes the thermal paste and even mounting pressure between the GPU and die can cause instability issues because of a weak connection between the two. Does your CPU have integrated graphics? If so, try taking your discrete graphics card out of the equation, and run your favorite GPU stress test software with the iGPU to see if it crashes. Maybe even before that you can check if there are new drivers and/or search the Cyperpunk forums to see if anyone else has the same issue. I bought Cyperpunk, but wait to install after I get my new card. I assume that you have a beefy PSU, maybe check how many watts the gpu is pulling under load. The windows event log might be able to shed some light, look for critical error, and search the web for any error codes. Not always useful, and sometime lead to false positives, but worth checking. Good luck

Oh man..my queue for the hybrid 3080 will be soon, but my ftw queue (i signed up in november...) is like 3months from actually popping. I really want the FTW for overclock potential and rgb, but waiting another 3 months hurts.
TBH I would get the Hybrid - RGB bar being smaller aside, it will clock better because of running cooler, less noise, etc - but it is a choice ya gotta make once your place in line is called :-D
But its the XC3 Hybrid version? Thought the FTW series has a extra set of the better capacitors and higher power limit?

I removed my other notifies and I also think this is relevant -- it said the associate's code is invalid when I had it copied to the phone, but when I pasted the code and hit apply it saved me $28. TYSM enewt for the code!

I'm thinking if I really want a 3090 may just need to buy a new system with it installed
If anyone out there were making the decision to buy a prebuilt system (I normally build my own, but last time I bought a cybertronic) any you would recommend while staying conformant with the rules of this forum? I saw a CUK on amazon . my budget would be like 4k max
