Big drop before the holidays would indeed be nice. But is that even possible? I thought the shortages are a consequence of low gddr6 supply and maybe other substrates / components, no?

EVGA are doing their best to clear them queues, nVidia is flippin so hard these days and blaming everyone but themselves while EVGA is the only vendor that took the ownership to solve that crisis, I am hoping for a decent drop this week *fingers crossed*

I just wanted to chime in saying I've only bought EVGA for the last dozen or so cards and always steer my friends and family this way as well. You guys are the only way I'm giving NVIDIA products my business any more; if it weren't for you I'd take the performance hit and extra hassle and buy AMD cards. NVIDIA are doing everything they can to push loyal customers away from their (imo) better product by just being a bad company towards it's rabid fan base. Thanks EGVA and all you other nuts. May your notifies find you soon.

Here's to seeing those queues move! *raises glass*

Just out of curiosity...., is this the largest number of pages for a single forum topic?  Almost 500 pages at this point.

Nope.  That honor goes to the topic below. There was a Part 1, so we can probably assume this is theoretically around 1500 pages long, if not, more.  Not sure what the limit is for a thread, but I've seen some maxed out in other forums (not EVGA's site) that forced a new topic to continue on.
OMG, I just laughed so hard 2 (Why so serious?) - EVGA Forums

Can someone tell me why I can’t auto notify for the 3090 KPE?
EDIT: I see people are waiting for it to “open back up”. I’m so ready for this world wide ****zu to be over.

Because it's a limited-run card to begin with, the first batch was already queued for, and it is also Elite Members only - because they don't want scalpers reselling the card and it's yet another measure against that - though there are still Kingpin cards on EBay, think 2 have sold so far.

Vustadumas
Looks like my notify for the 3090 will trigger before my step up for my 3080. Not sure if I should wait for step up or pull the trigger on the notify. The thought of having 3k worth of GPUs doesn’t feel good, hah. I can flip the 3080 of course, and recoup costs, but the hassle to sell it sucks.

You can always do what I'm doing, end up with both, pick which one you like more & resell the other one

I'm going to be waiting awhile.. Still kicking myself for missing my first notification email back in early October while I was at work.    Back when there was only a 5 hour window to get your card ordered.. Just missed it back then.   I could be playing Cyberpunk 2077 on a shiny 3080 FTW3!  Cyberpunk is making my GTX 1080 cry right now.

Oh well.. patience.  My time will come again!

I cannot believe we are still waiting for our cards.  Been lurking since the beginning but finally hit the wall this weekend.  October 4 for the 3080 FTWU.  I didn't think it would be like this.

And on the five hundredth page, on the day designated as 12/14 of the year 2020 by the Earthlings, more people came in to possession of lorg fancy printed circuit boards capable of displaying images of astounding quality & resolution, on liquid crystal displays.

Good luck to everyone on the bubble today (Monday - I know it's still Sunday for some, like myself, but I'm hyped), hopefully we get some big drops!

You're a lot closer than a lot of people, I would say unless you actually NEED that GPU for something work related, to just wait - at most it'll be another month I would think, maybe less... unless of course you actually live close to a Microcenter, then I'd say go for it.  The closest one for me is Dallas, and I'm in the middle of NM, so that woulda been waaaaaaay too long of a drive just to camp the store til I get a card.

When I spoke to them today, they said they aren't getting them on the normal trucks from their warehouses. They are coming direct to the stores from the manufacturers via FEDEX or UPS so there is no specific timeline.

Oh I am at a MC every other week or so. I have one 35-40 min away so it's all about waking up early enough and hoping something arrives. I am working on a Sapphire RX5700XT Nitro+ right now. FS2020 is taking all of it's power and can only get me 30FPS on my Ryzen 9 3900XT on High and less on Ultra.

I would say it's a safe bet they'll be closed on the 24th & 25th, as well as the 31st & 1st.  So we've got 2 3-day weeks of drops after this week, hopefully we'll get some lorg drops this week to compensate for the smol weeks at the end of the month.

Edit: Interesting thing I just noticed, the notify me buttons from the Hybrid kit pages are gone again.  At least for me they are.
