That's the part that is hard to understand, why would EVGA still send out cards to the resellers, or at least suspend this until the lines in the Que were diminished somewhat.

Your best bet is find a store where you can back order. I back ordered from a store on Oct 5 and got it Oct 29

What are some example stores that sell 3080s? I am in CT and not near a MicroCenter.

So, I’m on the wait for a FTW 3080 ULTRA and Gaming10/9/2020.  When should I expect the card to que? 2022?

The Gaming cards have not materially moved.  I am sorry I cannot give an estimate on those cards.

The 3080 FTW3 Ultra has moved to 2:56 pm on the launch day after multiple drops over more than a month of the queue's existence.  It is almost through the launch day congestion but there will be another period of congestion (i.e., lots of registrations in a short period) during the October 5/6 period when the queue was announced.  I am afraid you are looking at 2021 before the queue gets close to your registration.  I am sorry I do not have better news.

I am confident they have existing contractual commitments to their partners and that they will continue to fulfill their partner agreements while they also service the queue.

I happened to login last night and noticed that a 3070 was in stock, but it immediately sold out.  I keep revisiting the site through the night and there were actually several 3070s, 3080s (including EVGA), and 3090s that came up available. I tried to get an EVGA 3080 FTW3, but it failed after I had placed it in my cart and tried to pay. I only managed to get the 3090 in my cart and checked out. I did get the card because it did ship today.

****???
3070 que floating dead and you find card in stock on EVGA site.

The implication from bcoakley’s post is that there are non-EVGA cards on whatever site he logged into...I.e., he is not talking about EVGA.com.

We know that EVGA has continued to distribute units of its cards to its partner retailers and distributors.

The post was referring to cards on Newegg, not EVGA and probably not even EVGA branded cards given the card the poster got was a Gigabyte brand.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.  It sounded like they would exclusively service the que when the announcement was made.

on A Happy note , just watched a 3080 XC ultra get passed over for 1100 on ebay . baby steps...

I'm in New Haven county, about an hour from you. Not aware of any brick-and-mortar stores that sell 3080s - are you? I'm at 9/30 on the notify list for the FTW3 Ultra and 9/24 for the XC3 black and gaming, I think I will go crazy before the queue gets to me, and I'm getting tired of having Distill monitors running 24/7, getting pings in the middle of the night to find it sold out yet again 10 seconds later.

Local shop just posted that they got 5X 3080 FTW3's in. They want $1,100/ea for them. Does EVGA not have a pricing policy for their cards? No better than the ****s on eBay. A damn shame for a shop who supposedly supports the community, etc. Guess making a couple hundred extra per card means more than supporting your customer base. Even on eBay, scalper prices have dropped significantly. I mean, we went from people easily getting $1,500+ just 3-4 weeks ago, to $1,200-$1,300 in the last 2 weeks or so, to now the prices are getting closer to the $1,000 mark. If you look often enough, you can find them at $1,000 before they're gone. I'm surprised the prices are going this low given how you still can't buy cards, but I guess all the people who were willing to pay scalper prices have pretty much all bought at this point. Everyone else refuses to pay those prices and just has to wait.

None that I'm aware of, but I only checked BestBuy and they weren't taking any back orders, at least not at the time. I would hope that availability picks up a bit from now to Christmas, but time will tell

If your willing to drive to Boston, there's a Microcenter here, though I haven't had any luck the many multiple times I've gone there.

Nice. I don't think I'll be making it all the way to Yonkers... Do you remember the CompUSA store on the Boston Post Road in Orange? I bought my first video card there, I think it was a Voodoo2. Long since closed unfortunately. I wonder if there are some smaller mom-and-pop stores scattered around that might have some chance of carrying a 3080, but they'd probably ask as much as ebayers. I guess I'll keep watching this thread and hope the queue speeds up after it gets through the first couple days.

I would like to be on the queue to get a EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid Gaming; I hope I can get on the Queue when it's released I can get one; unlike the Nvidia Disaster.

Hi there,

Not sure if it as been said recently or not but do we know how far along we are in the list at all? I have a set notification from release (9/17) and havent gotten an email. Not sure what kind of expectations I should have with it. Definitely not a big deal as I totally understand the situation. Was just curious.

Thanks!

Is anyone giving up on the card they want and just going with whatever they can find in the secondary markets? I have been in the queue for a 3070 Ultra Gaming since 06:09 of release date. Probably 1000 people ahead of me. I believe zero cards have been released in the almost 3 weeks now as I have not read any comments from people saying they received their notification. There seem to be a lot of XC3 Blacks for sale by the scalpers. Some are getting a bit more reasonable. I would consider 10%ish a reasonable markup and call it a "finders fee". Just a shame that only the Blacks are available and that model does not even have the back plate.

A 3070 is more than enough for me. Just was hoping not to have to go with a baseline model.

Hi.  I am not sure for what card queue you signed up for, but I am reposting below the status for each North American queue as of Friday night (there is typically not movement over the weekend.  I hope this summary helps.  I try to circulate a summary of the North American queues each weekday night (I do not have visibility into the European queues). Good luck!

I am not giving up on the card I want.  I want to do this once and then never do it again (until the 4000 series).

The 3070 FTW3 Ultra queue has had at least one substantial drop (and it moved approximately 27 seconds into the queue); I have not seen any evidence that the 3070 XC3 Ultra card has received a drop to the queue.  Good luck in your hunt for your card!

Apologies -- I misread your time stamps as all being on 10/7.

Of your three queues, the 3090 FTW3 Ultra is the one that is consistently getting drops.  The 3090 XC3 Black is yet to receive a material drop and the 3090 FTW3 Gaming has only slightly moved.  The FTW3 Ultra is your best bet, but unfortunately you are still some significant ways away from the front of the line.  I would continue to look elsewhere while you keep tabs on the movement of the the 3090 FTW3 Ultra queue.  Best of luck!

The best "live feed" we have for the queue is this thread.  Feel free to hang out with the rest of us.  Your watch on the wall is always better in a group.

I really enjoy this community that has formed up around our collective watch...but I also really want my card (and think we have all waited longer than should be required).

Would be super cool if supply would ramp up so much over the next couple weeks that they clear the whole step up and email queue.

I've had that dream too...in two forms:

     1. my favorite deli counter ticket distribution goes wanting as an indication that 100% of the queue has been served;

     2. @EVGA_JacobF as Mr. Lorensax...

Have a good night everybody; tomorrow we go again!

Well, if Nvidia can't increase supply a lot by the 18th, I am guessing a lot of people will be switching to the red team. I know I plan to try for it!

Supply has definetly been ramping up and most of the notifications were in the early morning. We moved almost 4 hours this week. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3080 FTW3U moving into the second day this week or next week. I imagine each day following won't take more than a week until we pop up on the day this thread was made.
