I was wondering if anyone would have a general idea, either from if you know someone who queued around the same time or ect.
On 9/19/2020 2:21:27 PM PT (2 days post launch) I queued up for the 10G-P5-3883-KR and the 10G-P5-3881-KR 3080 cards. My notification page tells me that it has not sent the notification yet, and seeing as I have not got an email I am inclined to think I have not missed the email/8 hour window ect. Does anyone have any idea how far away I would relatively be in the queue? Like for example if anyone signed up around the same time/day prior who has gotten their card notification?

Guess the drop for 3080ftw3U didn’t happen today?
I heard of one invite to purchase email today but that's it. So...a straggler; no material drop. It really feels like Friday the 13th kicked us to the curb. The waterlogged "auto-notify" surprise launch, coupled with the lack of a drop...I am a bit gutted to be honest. But, if the field remains barren for the remainder of the day, that just means we should have bigger drops next week, right?!? Right?!? That's what I am telling myself anyway...hope springs eternal.

They did a brief auto-notify window today to get a cohort of folks to whom to offer "invite to purchase" emails. It was an unannounced change to the website and the button was up less than 30 minutes or so. I offered a bunch of speculation (100% speculation) a few posts ago if you want my wild @ss guess as to how hybrids might play out for future auto-notify windows. The shipping date for the first cohort is supposed to be "early to mid December" which I think will be between Dec. 7 and 15.

Well at least I have some good news to report, the 3070 XC3 arrived intact, as did my second replacement EK AIO 360... the first replacement EK sent me arrived with a gigantic forklift-punch in to the box that destroyed the radiator... the EK guy was like "How did they even ship it like that?" lol

No, these GPUs put out too much heat. MAYBE for the 3070's Hybrid cooler, but definitely not on a 3080 or 3090.

Josh Walrath, a writer for PC Perspective, owns a 3080 XC3 Gaming that he purchased online. So yes the XC3 non ultra does exist, but probably in much lower quantities than more profitable models.

Scalper prices on eBay are getting lower and lower. Many are $1,100. Must be getting at least somewhat harder to sell them. Just 7-10 days ago pretty much everything was $1,300+
