Just shocked I got in @ 6:00 AM and 52 seconds and no email yet. Be interesting if I get none next week either. Really shows how futile the 3080 queue is. I had Sept 23rd / 24th for that and it's still on the 17th, like a month later...lol.

Did you sign up for the 3080 or the 3090?

I ordered my 3090 FTW3 Ultra card on 10/27 and received it on 10/29. I did not get it installed until the night of 10/30 because I had to cut on my old case (Antec Atlas 550 Mid-Tower Case) with a Dremel tool to get the card to fit I was able to play Warzone a couple times last night with all settings maxed out at 2560 X 1440 resolution on a Samsung Odyssey G7 32" monitor. Very nice! I am old mind you (62) so my vision isn't what it was when I was younger but finally I was able to spot people from distances and when up close there was no blurring. OK I do not know all the technical terms but it looked great. I came in second on my first game with the new card. I was using a GTX 980 SC before this card and the difference is huge.

Here are some of my thoughts and complaints:
1.) During the registration I was presented with two options (5 years $30 and 10 years for $60) to purchase an extended warranty. I selected to make a purchase and it kicked me out of the page. I do want to make that purchase and need to find that page again.
2.) The documentation on this card is almost non-existent. If there is a manual somewhere can someone please point me to it.
3.) The only thing that comes with the card is a metal bracket that you can use to mount the other end of the card to your case. It says it can be used "if the case supports it". My box is old but I fashioned a bracket for it out of the drive bay metal that I had to cut on The card is pretty heavy and I did not want it to break the PCIe slot on the motherboard.
4.) I have an HX750i power supply. EVGA recommends a 750 PSU minimum on their website but when I installed the Precision X1 software it notified me that it was insufficient and pointed me to their 850 PSU's to purchase. I knew I would not be able to overclock it but I did expect it to work if I didn't. The two games I played seemed fine but I will eventually get another PSU if I see its an issue. I did use three separate 8 pin cables coming from the PSU to the card. Modular PSU's are the only way to go.
5.) This is my biggest complaint and I am not too happy about it. When I registered the card and uploaded my invoice on 10/30 I immediately went to a link I had saved in my browser to get the Watch Dogs: Legion code and the page showed that I had purchased a qualifying card but reported that the promotion was closed! I wrote an email about it to EVGA and the webmaster wrote me back and said they were sorry but we have limited codes! I paid $1864.09 for this card and can't get the software that was advertised with the card? I am going to write Sales and Customer Service but EVGA needs to make this good. Even if I have to take the newer call of duty promotion. I did not have a choice as to when I could purchase this card.

I looked at that spreadsheet and noticed no one else has received their notification for a 3090 FTW3 Ultra card since the day I ordered it so I know I am lucky to even get one in my hands. With that said I still think the promotion should be honored.

I got an email from the webmaster at EVGA while I was typing the above message and I am including it below. Hopefully I will get a game after all this is over

Good Evening,

You can find the promotional terms for each of these promotions here https://www.evga.com/arti...get-watch-dogs-legion/ and here https://www.evga.com/arti...1453/get-call-of-duty/

I'm in a strange spot with the game code myself. I got the email and purchased on 10/29 at around 10:14pm cst, so I'm kind of stuck in limbo where COD codes we not released yet by about an 1.75hrs and it was to late for Watchdogs. I wrote EVGA's rebate department to see if there was something to be done about it. I would greatly appreciate it if they we are to get me a code from Nvidia as I spent a boat load on my 3090 FTW3 Ultra and was really hoping to get in on the COD promo.

I understand the frustration. They haven't sent many of these cards out yet. They are still on launch day notifications. I'm on 10/2 and I'm really wondering how long it will take. I hope the shipments actually ramp up soon like they keep saying.

Just shocked I got in @ 6:00 AM and 52 seconds and no email yet. Be interesting if I get none next week either. Really shows how futile the 3080 queue is. I had Sept 23rd / 24th for that and it's still on the 17th, like a month later...lol.

There was a bigger 3080 drop last week than the week before. It moved the queue forward about 1 hour, which is a lot because there are TONS of auto-notifies on 9/17. Once the queue gets beyond 9/17 the days will start to fall away a lot faster.

As we get into November, there will be even bigger drops each week and the queue will start to move more quickly. More people will get cards from other vendors as well and that will help to reduce demand. I have a feeling that most folks will get a card one way or another by cyber Monday. I don't think people will be waiting into next year.

I just wanted to stop by and thank EVGA for doing a queue based system. As someone who doesn’t really have the time to bother checking a website every two minutes for stock just to be bought out by scalpers or other very excited buyers. Looking forward to getting a 3070 to upgrade from my 1660 Super!

Soon things will get better as amd is releasing their cards which are similar in performance. I'm betting many will just grab whatever comes first. This should spread inventory levels across and less competition for them.

I know I am getting whatever comes first and something inside me is telling me that I want the 6800xt more than the 3080 now (after all this waiting) they seem to be same and in fact the 6800xt probably 5% faster and $50 cheaper plus it has 16gb vram. Of course we don't know about their version of DLSS and lastly I don't really care about RT since it's a huge performance hit , I think I'll care about it when it allows me to turn it on and still get 100+ fps which means maybe series 5000 lol.

With that said I know I'll buy the 3080 if the email arrives before the 6800xt which I'm sure will be sold out anyways but ultimately if I still haven't received my 3080 email and somehow I get lucky and score a 6800xt then I'm going with that.

I only have a 1440p monitor and a 1080p one so I really don’t need to upgrade that far just yet. I’ll consider it next release. I just want something better than the 1660 Super and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg due to artificially inflated prices. The 3070 will let me stream and play games at around the same performance as a 2080ti

I'm pretty much exactly where you are in this whole thing.  I just don't know about AMDs drivers.  I haven't bought an AMD card since they were ATI.  So I would be a little nervous about it.
Hopefully I get my email so I don't have to be tempted to switch to the Red Team:)

If AMD's numbers hold up in independent testing, then I will be in the "whichever is available first boat". I'm not angry withe EVGA. I really appreciate what they are doing, but I'll be happy with either a 3080 or 6800XT so I will take whatever comes first and get out of the way so others can move up in the line.

Competition is good for us. I just hope AMD put out stable drivers whenever they release new product.

I could have sworn I asked to be notified about the 3090 FTW3 ultra on launch day as well as a few other GPU’s
but it seems the page to put my info in on my IOS device makes it hard to complete.
so now according to notify check I didn’t ask to be notified.
how accurate is the auto notify?

Ya I Had multiple attempts that never took on Launch day, but I guess one finally took on 9/23, so I am in there and it looks like January 3rd is my week.. we shall see

Yeah I am waiting as well with a 10/1 notify date. I don't think they are yet beyond the 24th launch date for the 3090. I keep hearing about more inventory coming but don't see much being released each day/week.
Waiting for a 3090 FTW 3 Ultra. The new upcoming Radeon 6900 XT has me starting to second guess a little.

Anyone else seen this issue? Auto notified for an sku that no longer exists!?

Clicking the sku sends me to the “oops” page.

Yeah we definitely got jacked on our purchase. This should not have happened and I am sure we are not the only ones. I don't really care which game I get. I just want a game that will test the limits of this very expensive card.

I am including a screen shot of my card installed. All LED's are turned off to save power.  Yeah it's not pretty but as you can see it is possible to install this in an old Antec Atlas 550 Mid-Tower Case. Not much room left in there though

Yeah A Dremel tool works wonders. I can afford an $1864.09 card but not a new box...lol I thought someone would get a kick out of the install.

I've had my 3080 Ultra for a week now, and I still get an adrenaline rush when my phone notifies me of a new e-mail. That was not a healthy month and a half, mentally. lol Pavlov's dog, and such.

Thank you for reaching out to EVGA customer support. Unfortunately we are out of the Watch Dogs: Legions codes, we ran out of codes on 10/29 and per NVIDIA's promotional terms, the promotion is while supplies last. The Call of Duty promotion is for purchases made on 10/30 or after, unfortunately we do not get a say on distribution of the codes. We are reviewing this with NVIDIA, please check back with us after 11/3 as we should have word on if there is anything that can be done.
You can find the promotional terms for each of these promotions here https://www.evga.com/arti...get-watch-dogs-legion/ and here https://www.evga.com/arti...1453/get-call-of-duty/

Thank you,
EVGA

It's getting crowed in there , with what it's happening these days even electrical componet need to keep the distance like we do with covid. You may want to Take in consideration a new case for better Airflow... I did update with a new one too, since these new cards are bigger and need better cooling for OC, "even if not".
I'm doing custom Water cooling system like the old one, and things was starting to get to crowd, and affecting ariflow by capping heat in the old case.
Long story short, thank to other people who posted in here regarding the Lian li 011 dynamic, I dicovered that my evga 1080ti FTW3 was no fit in my new case before I receive it. I was about to set a notification for the 3080 FTW, but since is large as the 1080ti FTW3 I can not use it in my case. I can not use it with a vertical mount since i have to use Two sound card an one USB hub with the rest of PCI ports. luckly I Did a notification with the XC3 Ultra.I Hope that at the time I'm waiting for the notification, the 3080 Hydrocopper will be available.

I'm in the same boat, unable to claim WatchDogs bought the card on 10/29 but was processing so not valid for claim. Then not eligible for Call of Duty because I bought before 10/30. I really wish that since nVidia's eligible period covers through the end of November that EVGA would work with nVidia to get those of us in the gap period covered by either WatchDogs or Call of Duty. It's not like all of us didn't want to buy the card sooner, we didn't have a choice of when we bought the card.

Need some advice. I have the Ultra FTW3 3090 card. I am trying to hook up 3 4K TVs to it.  None of the DP to HDMI converters have HDMI 2.1 which means I can't go over 60HZ 4K.  Any suggestions, other than getting the aorus master or xtreme which have native 2.1 hdmi ports.

If you need to hook up three 4K TVs via 2.1 HDMI, then your options are pretty limited.  It sounds like you have an AORUS in you future.
