I have only visited sporadically since I was successfully able to secure an early queue in the 3080Ti launch day, but met utter failure with all my attempts for a 3070Ti. I did receive my 3080Ti, but I decided to let my friend have it. We opened it up to take a look at it last night. He hasn't hooked anything up yet, but that FTW3 hybrid 3080Ti is a gorgeous piece of video card! Can't wait to see how it performs. He's been a friend of mine for years, and he is an EVGA fan of many years also, so I'm glad to see someone like that get a top-tier video card! I also wanted to congratulate you on your recent good fortune at acquiring cards for yourself and your friends. Few things are more rewarding than seeing the smile on their face when they fire up their new gaming PC with a fancy Ampere (or AMD 6000 series) graphics card for the first time. Glad you are able to experience that now with your shiny new card! I have enjoyed your comments here along with the other regulars. This has definitely turned into a little family for at least some of us!!

I've pretty much lost hope that we are going to see any more 3897 (3080 FTW3 Ultra) drops. It really sucks waiting patiently for almost 10 months now and then having some new cards come out that take up all the production space.

My time stamp is 8:23 am on launch day so I know it'll be a bit before that comes but when it does eventually come can I still purchase this card even though I got a step up? I'd like this 2nd card for my gfs PC.
As long as you're still signed up for your notify, you might be ok. I know they were limiting queue customers to one of each SKU max per individual customer. I'm not sure if you step-up to the same SKU you're in the notify queue for if it disqualifies you from being able to purchase that SKU through the queue. I would imagine not, but that would be a question to make directly with EVGA. I would call/email them to know for sure! (unless someone here has personally been able to step-up and queue purchase the same SKU on the same customer account that would like to chime in here.)
im still seeking an answer on this can a 3070ti buyer really step up to a 3080ti/3090/3080 bumping those out of their spot in the queue. this is what im apparently seeing here.if so this should not be the case the step up program should be on halt till these queues are done or shortage is over.

we recently had a massive drop of 3898 and, in my opinion, the two models 3897 and 3898 share the same pool of chips. So maybe 3897 will be the next one that drops and 3898 will take awhile to reappear.

Judging by what is being shipped to other distributors, they are mixing some of the back order productions into the mix and the supply of chips is starting to move again as the factories are getting moving again. Dont give up the EVGA queue will get there.

Its never the same twice when ordering from the states. But based on past similar amounts spent I would say this as a worst case scenario. Plus its being shipped by UPS so it can be expensive they add brokerage fees and others along with the shipping cost I would expect at least $200 to $325 in total. The duties are mainly tax and that should come in around 200 ish. Or you will luck out and the duties are passed on.... I have had that too with shipments from the US. Most of the time Canadians get screwed but every so often the Border Gods let them slip through.

Sorry to say, if you’ve signed up on June 4th, you have a very long wait ahead of you. The queue is currently at June 3rd, 7:30 am PT, or thereabouts for US. I’d think it may not even started to serve the EU queue yet.

Us and Canada Free Trade is a myth for regular consumers. Anything shipped from the states thats over $60 value Canadian is subject to extra charges.

It's my understanding that the Step Up queue is it's own separate thing. No one gets bumped from either queue. Obviously theres a massive number in the general queues but step ups have their own as well but with what I would assume would be massively reduced allotments.

Others here have mentioned that you should always spring for the most expensive shipping option; seems like there's is less chance of any hang-ups occurring along the way. Otherwise, you should just be paying your provincial tax + GST and a brokerage fee (typically a few percent).
