I have a unique situation. I acquired a 3080 Ti through the step up program yet I'm still registered in the standard queue for the 3080 Ti. My time stamp is 8:23 am on launch day so I know it'll be a bit before that comes but when it does eventually come can I still purchase this card even though I got a step up? I'd like this 2nd card for my gfs PC.

As long as you're still signed up for your notify, you might be ok. I know they were limiting queue customers to one of each SKU max per individual customer. I'm not sure if you step-up to the same SKU you're in the notify queue for if it disqualifies you from being able to purchase that SKU through the queue. I would imagine not, but that would be a question to make directly with EVGA. I would call/email them to know for sure! (unless someone here has personally been able to step-up and queue purchase the same SKU on the same customer account that would like to chime in here.)

Unless they drop a LOT of cards this week I kinda doubt that.  I'm at 7:42 on the same list and I don't count on getting a card this week.  Just HOPING I do.

Which cards has been making the most movement in the queue?

Things have slowed down pretty much across the board in recent memory, but the ones that jump out to me were (past tense) the 3897 and the 3987. Those have both managed to make it a few days past their launch dates. The 3987 had a few drops that moved it over 24 hours. The 3897 was cruising along until the 3080 Ti was about to drop. Were you interested in a particular variant (i.e. 3060, 3070, 3070 Ti, etc.)?

I’m thinking about getting my 3080 ti on eBay because I’m otherwise pretty ****ed at 8:44 on 6/3. At first I thought I’d just be waiting about 2 months. But everyone seems to be suggesting that I’ll be lucky to get my card in six months.

Give it some time to see what the queue movement looks like. It's really too early to try and gather any trends from the drops. It's only really had two or three drops and that was right around the time the 3070 Ti was also prepping to drop. The movement may have looked solid at the get go due to EVGA's stockpile in preparation of the drop and might completely slow down or it might continue chugging right along. Either way, like staypuft said, you could wait a little bit and see what happens. It does also seem like Ampere card prices are lowering a tiny bit as more listings go unposted on there. Whatever you decide, best of luck on your search, mate! Hopefully you are able to find a card soon :)

I have only visited sporadically since I was successfully able to secure an early queue in the 3080Ti launch day, but met utter failure with all my attempts for a 3070Ti. I did receive my 3080Ti, but I decided to let my friend have it. We opened it up to take a look at it last night. He hasn't hooked anything up yet, but that FTW3 hybrid 3080Ti is a gorgeous piece of video card! Can't wait to see how it performs. He's been a friend of mine for years, and he is an EVGA fan of many years also, so I'm glad to see someone like that get a top-tier video card! I also wanted to congratulate you on your recent good fortune at acquiring cards for yourself and your friends. Few things are more rewarding than seeing the smile on their face when they fire up their new gaming PC with a fancy Ampere (or AMD 6000 series) graphics card for the first time. Glad you are able to experience that now with your shiny new card! I have enjoyed your comments here along with the other regulars. This has definitely turned into a little family for at least some of us!!

Got my wife's 3080Ti hybrid installed.  Reversed airflow, all intake except front exhaust through the hybrid.  CPU runs cooler than before, GPU steady at 60C under load.  She's happy.
I absolutely hate the hybrid fans being 3 pin rgb though.  I tried attaching them to the GPU and the pins broke immediately, even though I had them aligned.  Luckily the motherboard pins were more robust.  
It's a design flaw in general for the 3 pin but honestly the card,s pins were ridiculously thin.
Not worth an RMA though, I'll be putting ML120s on anyway.

What's this about the hybrid fan pins breaking? I'll have to warn my friend about his 3080 Ti. Glad the motherboard ones are working. I would much rather have the RGB controlled through the motherboard than have to install another 3rd party (EVGA) RGB app just for the GPU RGB.

I'm right there with you. 7:53:42 AM PT. Hopefully we see some big movement this week. Expecting probably by the end of the month. If its sooner, I would be ecstatic!

I'm at 7:41:43 for the 3967 and I'm not sure I'll even get one today.

yeah, gotta hope that everyone was still fighting over the log ins and it was a trickle instead of a flood getting in in the 7:40s lol

impressive movement on 3080ti ftw3 ultra.... hopefully we can hit 7:53 and up by end of week. so over priced on this card. No xoc bios... thats really lame. I guess its the only way they can segment the 3090 from it. 450w at most will only see 2100mhz clocks if you are lucky...
