I think it's more likely we see 3070ti or 3080ti being shipped before 3070 or 3080.

The only tracking I've seen for step ups is by card. So you have to search "unofficial 30XX step up queue" but they tell you what you need to know. Where is the queue now. My brother signed up for his 3070 step up on 10/29/20 and received his card last month.

Yes, I am, my firstborn is expected in June it'll be great to get some use of the card before then. Come to think of it, I'll be in the queue longer than my child has been in a womb. I never thought back in September, I'll be a dad before getting a 30xx graphics card. CRAZY!

thorandir Thanks for explaining this. So basically anyone who is into 2021 can expect their card 3 years from now.
They really shouldn't have kept the queue going into the new year, with people from September still waiting it shows just how slow it is moving, and unless supply picks up it isn't likely to change.

I'm still a ways off from a GPU but I grabbed a 360mm CLC from B-Stock and Ewent's code saved me an extra $9. That's a pretty sweet deal for a 360mm. Thanks!

I think especially for the 3090's; people who were on the queue but might have passed up their spot in late 2020 due to the price, are now buying without reservations since who knows when a 3080 or anything else will come up.

Is it time to crowdsource names? How about GeForce? Or, given Dad's forum name, Variable Rate Shading? Or Max? And we also need to come up with a name for your new baby.... Seriously, congratulations! P.S. Enjoy your PS5.

LOL, they would have to turn off purchases as they have a back log, like some the cards they don't allow for the queue, so no bots to crash the site, you misunderstood what I meant when I said they should have stoped doing the queue when the new year came around.

Pretty much every 3080 under $900, I'm looking for a GPU that can handle modern titles at 2k @ 60 FPS and older titles at 2k @ as close to 144 FPS.
