30 days is an understatement. Ftw3 gaming models have seen no drops in last few months. Those sku's have seen zero movement for months.
Indeed it is an understatement. I added the 3751 and 3898 to the "at least 30 day dropless" list this week. The Kingpin will follow over the weekend....

UrobulusNo offense to EVGA but they don't either... Businesses only answer to one master: MONEY. Much easier just to rise prices as other manufacturers did. I believe bundles made by newegg, not by EVGA.

I am actually bummed that I missed watching the first race of the 2021 season (I've never said that before). I am ok with the stories.... Sports is about narrative, full stop. Anybody can look at stats and spreadsheets (trust me on that one), but to understand the undercurrents -- big and small -- and understand why a mid-pack battle for one spot has real implications for both drivers and teams...that is compelling. That is entertainment. Anyway, back to waiting....

Oh! My apologies! I feel like F1 isn't SUPER popular here in the states so normally everyone I talk to is like "...what is that?" I really hope you enjoy it then! But yeah, you'll have plenty of fun with them acting like Sainz and Norris hated each other xD I'm just heartbroken that they did my boy George Russell dirty and gave him a total of maybe 30 seconds screen time. They didn't even really mention him in Sakhir, the Williams family leaving the team, or Hulkenburg AT ALL. Crazy to me :O
No apology needed. 👍🏻 I’ve always been fascinated by Motorsport and pure engineering. I have to admit, we’re having some renovation in the house and I had to miss the first race and am still trying to set aside time to watch it without being disturbed. I’ve been avoiding any news sites with a Motorsport section like the plague. Thread content: The first game I’ll play with the water cooled goodness that is the RTX 3080 hybrid, is a historic motorsports game :)

In the beginning (November?), I was fortunate enough to acquire a 3080 FTW3 Ultra through the queue.
Later (January?), I passed up a 3090 Kingpin, 3070's, and 3060's. I assumed (the -A- word) that the queue would be depleted in months, and I did not need to be greedy (and I was being cheap).
Now I realize I should have acquired the Kingpin when I had the chance, and given my 3080 to my nephew.
I requeued on the Kingpin, but I'm way down on the list, so a couple months ago I put my 3080 in the Step-Up.
Today I received a notify (pending invoice review) for the Step-Up. I really wish I could convert it to a straight sale.
I assume EVGA resells the Step-Up RMA product as B-stock. Has anyone seen B-stock 30 series cards?

That's 12 SKUs on "30 days or longer" on the NA list. The EU queue has 10+ fewer SKUs total, and shares 12 SKUs on 30 days or more. 11 of those haven't dropped since 2020, the last one being early-mid January. Looks like I'm not getting a card any year soon...

The bundles are not a retail thing. They are a supplier thing. Local pc shop I’m familiar with says he can’t get cards from several manufacturers unless he bundles with something. He gave an example and it just so happened to be EVGA who told him they couldn’t ship any 3070’s to him by themselves but could maybe work something out if excess stock of power supplies could be bundled with them.
All suppliers are doing this. This does two things. It keeps their revenue up which is essential and keeps employees busy who may otherwise be sent home because they can’t work on gpus due to the availability of chips. Look at the output of gpus towards the end of last year vs this year if you don’t believe this is about anything other than a silicon shortage.EVGA would make more gpus if they could.
I’m not salty about having t buy an additional product to get a card. I can sell it or give it to a friend easy enough. Heck I wouldn’t mind doing it a couple of times. You know who does get salty about it? Professional scalpers get salty. It’s another problem and possible issue on every gpu they turn.

My problem with the bundles is they are often terrible bundles. If they'd do something a little more consumer friendly, like say you must buy one of these 10 items in addition to your GPU of preference, I'd be less bothered by it. Or sell a gift card you could only use on non GPU purchases even. This trash PSU or trash cooler with a premium product is simply that. Making you buy their trash. I'm not a scalper, but I'm not that interested in trying to figure out what to do with trash I never wanted.

Jacob providing information is kind of a lose-lose-lose situation for him. I trust he is giving information as permitted and to the best of his knowledge, and even if he was 100% correct, there still would be complaints about low numbers, other skus, delayed skus, retailers, and the list goes on. As I said earlier today, EVGA could go the route of other places, not say much of anything, raise prices 20% instantly, and roll around in the money while all of us fight over the small number available like animals.

You're right. It's only 60% of the week. With Friday routinely being 'stragglers' and lately Thursday being that way also (and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

I guess Jacob sees what's coming in from overseas but not sure when to get it at EVGA because of current mess at LA and Long beach ports. Even vessel arrived at the port no one knows when they can actually gets the shipments at warehouse. I'm waiting at 9/21 around 1pm for 3080 FTW Ultra.
