soulstyce612 Lots of reported Step 2's on the step up sheet yesterday! After eleven days of no movement we appear to have at least 27 or 28 Step 2's on 3/30, and at least one on 3/31: I know it doesn't help many in this thread, but I'll take it as an encouraging sign of potential things to come...
Movements of which sku we are talking about here? Please! I hope 3080.. π
The sheet specifies 3080 and the only 3080 on the step up list is the 3897.

The spirit of this thread is so warm when folks are getting cards.
Got to admit it makes me happy. Was pretty salted for the last couple of weeks in here.

I entered the step up on 12/19 at 04:20. We've moved from 09/19 02:48 on 3/17 to 09/21 12:01 as of the latest reports today. Quite literally a quantum leap compared to the pace we've seen these last few months.

gvarv Anyone know how many of the cards have failed to move past their first signup day? If EVGA fails to even fulfill launch day sign ups before the coming price hike.... wow....
You aren't thinking about this in perspective. I guess the better way to wow yourself is to consider which other AIBs even implemented a queue. Did Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, or PNY? No, so they fulfilled zero orders on any queue ever direct to consumers as far as I know. And they jacked up prices so much higher. I remember looking at that ugly 3090 PNY card in November at CDW and thinking geez, CDW is asking 250+ over MSRP. I saw it as bad value, and an eyesore. I don't regret passing on it, even though I now see it well above that at MSRP (not available, but the new MSRP), and selling for over 3k in the secondary market. The price hike isn't because evga said we want to make more money. It's based on the politics of tariffs (parts coming from China). That is what it is. Many cards moved a lot since evga grandfathered in prices. Some didn't. Again, it's more of an availability thing than looking to screw someone over. EVGA has gone the opposite way vs the other big AIBs, so relax. Sprinkle that salt elsewhere... other AIBs need it a little more to take the bad taste out of my mouth.

Evga has to be a profitable company...soo, with a limited supply of products to sell, they are only selling the top tier version of each card...xc3 ultra, ftw3 ultra, etc....that's just the way it is

From what I have gathered with these limited drops is EVGA does one blast of cards at 10am PST and then an extremely limited straggle of cards the rest of the day

I'm sorry, I did my best to specify step-up... Just trying to spread a little encouraging news... I guess cards going to us could represent cards not going to you all, but in my mind movement is movement regardless of where they fall - if that makes any sense...

I've got no objection to cards going to the step-up queue, that seems totally fair to me. I am not sure whether the "notify queue" thread is the right place for that conversation...but I am fine with it either way. All cool from my side....

They aren't in a queue per say like the 3000 series. I've been buying B-stock cards to use in pc builds and I noticed this last week, they weren't in B-stock anymore but in actual 20-series page so I assume they restocked them as "new" If you do sign up for it, you'll get an alert but if you aren't fast, like 5-7ish mins fast, they will all be bought up.

No, it will be a de facto queue as well.
I seem to remember a tweet from Jacob from a while back wherein someone asked whether clicking notify for the 1660 or 1660 Ti or Super (one of those) would put them in a queue, and he responded that there is no queue for that card. I can't seem to find the tweet now though (not sure how to even search for something like that). So I'm not entirely certain that every "Notify" button leads to a queue (seems unlikely, considering that on their website the queue disclaimer is explicitly for 30 series cards). I did put myself on notify for pretty much every product on their site, including PSUs, a few months back, but have yet to receive any notifications.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet βΊοΈ. I hope you all get your card soon! If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:
