If they end up basically screwing the people already in line for months and drop the 3080 FTW completely in favor for a brand new queue for a 3080ti then EVGA will definitely lose my trust, and probably a lot of others too.

Some of us have been waiting for 6+ months in line to buy a card. I don't see why someone who either JUST joined the queue or recently joined it should have the same chance as other peeps that have been waiting waaaayyyyy before them. It's not ''entitlement'' as you say: it's just fair. Just be logical here c'mon. That's the whole point of waiting in line in a queue. It's not my fault if you decided to join only 1 queue months after release and everyone else is in line before you. They deserve to get their card before you.

The straggler word gets me chuckling. Make no mistake, I applaud any movement. Straggle implies there was a main body of movement. I guess you could qualify last year as that. This seems to be more like a sprinkle. Not even leftovers from a previous day. Ok. Pity party over. Tomorrow will get us to 0900... Positive thoughts.

Stragglers from the 3885 and 3897 are really cracking me up. My two cards are in a race now! yup, I have a kid that I was supposed to build a gaming rig for, but it is on hold till we can get a decently priced graphics card.
I just passed down my old system with on board graphics to my son until I can replace my 1080 ti. He was happy to finally have his own PC but very disappointed at its limitations. Especially since he has been drooling over it for quite some time.
I ordered a GT710 for $27 just to have a video card for the system :D
