Register the card when you get it and then there will be an option to buy an extended warranty for 5/10 years.

Congratulations!  May I ask what your specific timestamp was on the 10/25?  It can be found here: . 
 
Once you have the card, you can upload your invoice to the EVGA.com website and you should get an option to purchase the warranty.  Again, congratulations!!!

An official current queue timestamp per queue would be nice to have but my guess is that the group data gathering effort being provided by folks (like those in this thread) already results in an unofficial "best guess" which is so close to whatever the real official one is as to not make a difference.  I have a mental picture of Jacob popping over to sneak a peak at this thread every so often and being quietly amazed at how accurate this effort presumably really is.

I think reports in here and elsewhere are most accurate in very congested periods.  Let's say 1 out of every 100 report back.  I just made that up.  If you are in a heavy minute, chances are you'll likely be close to reality.  When things start moving by 20+ hours?  Chances are this is way less accurate.  It's not a bad thing, because now it is moving by chunks.  But I trust that final timestamp reported less.  I agree in general though that it's just asking a bit too much for a decision made on the fly in October when they don't even really know what inventory they will be receiving.

Very true; as long as we're in the heavy dense part of the queues our group sourced estimates are probably pretty good (odds of catching a fish in an area where there are a lot of fish) but as queues move into sparser zones then accuracy should go down (odds of catching a fish in an area where there aren't a lot of fish).

I'm heading out to see a veteran bud.  Met him through some group sessions.  Take time for yourself if you need it, and branch out.  I've got a small heady buzz just because I got a notify today.  Now if I can just grab a 3090 and a 5900, I'll be set for a few years.
 
Good luck to everyone today or in the weeks to come.  It's not always a fun wait, but it's kind of nice to see it arrive.  And to agree with the person before (and myself), Ted Lasso is the kind of feel-good tv that we need sometimes.  The worst witch is pretty decent too.  Netflix.  Four seasons.  Like a low-budget Harry Potter, but more themed for girls.

Don't feel bad man. I'm even further out than that. One of two things will happen.

I will eventually break down and get tired of looking at the computer parts beside my desk and pay a scalper off Amazon for a 3080

The 3080 Ti will come out and I'll take a day off work to finger the trigger until it's available and get in on that queue on day 1
