Looks like the Newegg shuffle went from "Providing hard-to-find items" to "clearing inventory of cards that are made by everyone's second choice in card manufacturers".
It is launch day for the 6700 xt. Not so much clearing inventory as doing a shuffle in case demand is high.

This is true. I am truly interested if people here would buy an AMD GPU. I am holding out for EVGA/Nvidia cards myself. I was initially tempted to go red, when I felt like I was desperate. I felt myself getting caught up in the hype of the shortage and I "had to get one NOW." However, it really is just a graphics card upgrade and doesn't change my life in any meaningful fashion. Good luck to you all for the rest of the week and hopefully we can get to Sept 21 on the 3897.

For those of us who signed up late for the 3987, we finally have the good news of accelerated progress in the queue. I'm quite encouraged. Enewt, you are clearly the man. If it weren't for you, my watch would be a lot darker. I love checking the progress nightly, even though I haven't had much to say lately. I plan to use your associate's code sooner than later! Now let's hope the other queues will pick up some steam for everyone here. May we all not shrivel up before we get our cards.

And the queues march ever onward...into the second half of our Tech Launch Debacle Year #1. Yesterday brought some decent movement in the 3090 FTW3 Ultra, 3070 FTW3 Ultra and 3070 XC3 Ultra queues. This is not to say that there was a substantially greater volume of units that dropped to the queues. Rather, the movement is most likely the result of these queues having moved beyond the natural periods of registration congestion (e.g., launch window congestion and queue announcement congestion (i.e., October 5 and 6)). There really shouldn't be any major slow downs for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra due to congestion, although there may be some heavier registration action around the Hybrid/HC queue announcements on 11/13...but nothing on the scale of what 9/24 and 10/5-10/6 saw. Go get your card! "Clearing inventory" is hardly a fair description of NewEgg's offering a chance to purchase a product that was just introduced to the market today and which has apparently sold out virtually instantly as soon as it was offered for sale. That's not an opinion on the relative merits of Nvidia vs AMD GPUs. It is just a comment on the state of the market. NewEgg is a major retailer of EVGA products. It is not appropriate to badmouth NewEgg on an EVGA-sponsored forum.

I was looking into cpu aoi's that the hoses were replaceable. Thought might be able to pipe one into a HC card, then just mount the cpu clock to the case and not use it for intended purpose, but just the pump. A little wonky I know, but it would be a cheap alternative!

Yesterday drop of 3070, 3080 and 3090 was big enough - even some people in Step-Up queue got their notification. Hopefully today will be the same with 3060 Ti!

Invite to purchase emails for today have started to go out (including for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra), but there may be an issue with the checkout process. EVGA_JacobF has tweeted about it...they are looking into it. If you get an email but cannot check out, don't panic. It will get resolved.

Per my earlier note (above), EVGA is aware of the issue and is working on it. You can call customer service ( 1.888.881.EVGA (3842)) and/or reply to the email you received (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com). They will get you sorted.

you poor soul. i would have had a heart attack thinking that there was a possibility of not being selected after all that waiting! When your name is called you get to purchase here, so have no fear.

The Ultra? It is moving pretty well at this point. The drop today has already moved the Ultra queue to midday on 9/21...so another 12+ hour move today (on a straggler drop day).
