That's interesting.  I know it's difficult to compare because reddit is so massive, while evga forums are much smaller, but very specific.  Have the reports in dried up at both places more or less equally?

Im only 5-6 minutes but no movement for the hybrids, any idea when these will start to move?

Well at this rate it's gonna take another 7 months to get to me for the 3898. Queue is here... 12/16/2020 9:05:12 PM PT and I am here... 12/23/2020 9:11:23 PM PT . Worst time ever for both of my hobbies, it is just as bad over on the ammo reloading side of things as well.

We were supposed to get news this week regarding when the FTW3 3080 and 3090 Hydro Copper "auto-notify" buttons are going to be relit. That suggests to me that there is another HC drop for those cards coming in the next few weekdays.... So, if a waterlogged card is your thing, keep an eye on @EVGA_JacobF's twitter feed, the EVGA forums...or this newt channel...as EVGA typically gives at least ~36 hours notice (if past is precedent).  
 
The 3080 and 3090 FTW3 Ultras are continuing their march through the timeline as the concentration of registrations per hour continue to fall. With under a month to go before the April 16 2020 price cut off (for grandfathered registrants), there is still a slight possibility that the 3090 Halloween registrants may get in under the wire. It is less likely, but still possible, that 3080 FTW3 Ultra registrants on October 1 may also get the benefit of the 2020 prices (hope spring eternal). But, in both cases, a lot has to go right.
 
In the meantime, please keep your watch in perspective...there are a lot of things going right in the world and a lot of things that we all need to work on together....This week has reminded me that my experience is but one of countless multitudes, that I have been blessed with privileges that I have not always acknowledged or appreciated, and that I have work to do on myself. Be kind to one another. Be kind to yourself. Enjoy the time we have....

The times on enewt's sheet match up with confirmations I have received as well on reddit and elsewhere. I would only add, I have confirmation from three different people that 3987 is at or around the afternoon of 10/21, and from two people that 3767 is at or around midnight of 11/2.

SyntaxTurtleMy thinking is this: If I have to overpay by a hundred bucks now versus waiting six months to find a card a hundred bucks cheaper, in six months I won't even remember or miss the $100 but I'll have an extra six months of better gaming under my belt.

It is all depends... 3060 - it is entry level card. According gpu.userbenchmark.com 1070 Ti has similar performance, so if you are gamer, you probably already has graphics card with similar or better performance.

The 3060 outpaces a 1070Ti on average, significantly beats it on more modern games like Control, and brings RTX capability.  Not sure it's worth $500 even in today's market, but that's up to each individual and their needs.  At EVGA's $329 price for the Black model, it's the most sensible deal today for people in that price range who are coming from 900 series and low-mid end 1000 series... availability aside.  Too bad many of these are just getting flipped on the bay for ridiculous markups.  Avg sale price jumped to $800+ after the news that ETH mining is back on the table.

This card not worth it for miners. It makes less than $5 per day. Minus electricity and taxes - and you'll need around year to get back your investments. And ETH will move from PoW to PoS soon...
 
More than that: only one card in system can mine full speed. And driver exists only for Windows. Nice "gift" from Nvidia to gamers who want to make some money between gaming sessions.
