I wouldnt expect the 3080 FTW3 Hybrids to move more than 10-20 seconds at most and even thats generous. If it surpasses that, we'll know it was a fairly decent drop.

I agree. Something in the range of 7 to 15 seconds would indicate a decent drop. More than that would be AWESOME!

I was 17 seconds off, but at least 10 down on the spreadsheet. So decent sized drop assuming quite a few people aren't probably on the spreadsheet.

enewt It’s Tuesday. Usually a big day for drops (relatively speaking). Let’s make today the day we each get our cards! Best of luck! As of 8:30 am PT Tuesday morning, January 26, this is the status of the North American queues (bolded font represents movement from the morning of Monday, January 25; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from the prior report) May your remaining wait be shorter than you anticipate; it is already longer than you deserve. Good luck today! Stay safe!
Thanks for the update! It seems like 3090s have been moving quite more now, which is good, but the days are still the same. I'm wondering whether it has been a very small amount of supply that gets shipped out often or there's just that many sign ups for a single day (10/09/2020).

Dabadger84 3080 Ti may not be coming out until October so you got a long wait ahead of you, it's already been "delayed" twice, I think they had no intention of actually releasing it in Q1 tbh.
According to whom? I was quoting the Tom's Hardware article that spoke of a launch after the lunar new year which puts us in the latter half of February. Now, that was before CES happened, but nothing came out of that other than the "indefinite delay" rumor which was just that, a rumor. Nothing official has been said by Nvidia about the 3080ti going back to that Tom's Hardware quote so I will stick with that until someone who knows what's going on provides an update. If someone has more current info from a reliable source, I'm sure a lot of folks here would be interested. Back to the "launch" though. As most of us know, a launch typically means that a small batch of cards will go out and then it's hurry up and wait for weeks or months for more cards to be released. Just because the 3080ti might launch at the end of February doesn't mean that 75% of the people who want one will be able to get one before summer. If so, that's totally fine. As long as I can get in a queue and know that I have one coming I can wait until summer. I don't have any applications that require that much GPU anyway. When CP2077 flopped and a couple of other GPU intensive games were delayed, getting a new GPU right away became less of a priority.

Here is a link to the hybrid queues again for anyone who needs it. According to the sheet, the 3898 queue advanced 17 seconds so far. It doesn't seem like much, but I bet there are a lot of cards crammed into those 17 seconds. It's going to take a few drops to get beyond 9:05. After that, it looks like it lightens up a bit. https://docs.google.com/s...W4E/edit#gid=703227978

Urobulus They shouldn't have come out with so many different SKUs: it's just downright ridiculous now that they keep creating new SKUs yet can't fulfill orders of people that have been waiting for close to 5 months now for a stupid card...
I said this already but y'all act like they don't plan for these SKUs months in advance. They won't cancel production just because queues are full for certain models, that's not how it works.
Making guesses as to the reasons why production isn't as large as everyone would like it to be is pointless without knowing what are the factors limiting production. If the problem is a shortage of chips from Nvidia, then the number cards they can produce is not dependent on the number of SKUs card makers make using the chips they are able to get. It's possible that new SKUs are announced in order to temporarily replace cards for which there is a shortage of parts particular to the cards being replaced (e.g., for possible example, copper tubing for the Hydro Copper SKUs). If so, the new SKUs increase the number of cards that can be produced by allowing more of the chips to be put into saleable cards. Nvidia, EVGA, Samsung and the other companies involved in producing the cards are companies with a history of success. Profits are dependent on producing as many saleable products as they can. They have no reason to intentionally reduce output, and I doubt that they are so inept as to not produce as many saleable cards as they possibly can. I am beyond frustrated with not being able to get a new graphics card and not being able to get a new 5900x, but I'm sure the manufacturers are even more frustrated at not being able to supply those items for us and to get our cash in return.
