guitarskoota Got my RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra Gaming 08G-P5-3755-KR email today finally. Last Friday it looked as if I had been skipped, but got the email today thankfully. Already paid for, rushed shipping, and it looks like it shipped! Excited to upgrade from my GTX 1080. Sounds like mphall got his today as well, so either a couple stragglers, or they did get a few in.
Congratulations! May I ask your original registration timestamp? Enjoy your 3070!

bsquaredracing this whole supply shortage and queue system is just disappointing. has anybody looked at the different cards movement since signup? are we minutes , hours, days, or months of movement since you could sign up on the wait list.
Dude, I signed up on the 18th of Sep for my card and did my order on the 19th of Jan this year, it might be long but totally TOTALLY worth it, I paid for my card all in all like 865USD, that same exact card is sold where I am now for 2,722.94 US Dollars on Amazon AE, maybe round 1600USD on EBay also for a trusted listing, I learnt the word Patience in this thread, be patient my friend this is all I can recommend for you.

I mean it's a joke at this point. I just want a 3080, any 3080 from EVGA but I doubt I'll ever get one through this system. Yes there are reasons but there is better luck to be had following some Discords than beating your head against a wall with this queue system.

Does seem like it at this point, I doubt I will ever see my name come up, at least not before the prices go up for even us on the list.

Think of the queue as a Plan B. Get a time stamp, and check in maybe once or twice a month to see how far the queue has moved. Otherwise, forget about it. You might as well be watching paint peel off the walls. I'm fine with that since I'm not in a big hurry to get a new card. If the 3080ti launches before my time stamp for the 3898 comes up I'm going to get the ti. It has been delayed until late February which is a blink of an eye in this thread. I know, I heard that it was delayed "indefinitely", but that could mean tomorrow or never so I'm sticking with late February for now. More people seem to be having luck with notifications through Discord. I would recommend going that way if you are fine with an air cooled card, especially if your time stamp is light years away. Those of us who are set on a hybrid, HC, or 3080ti.... we stay here and rot until the queue gets to us.

My main goal is securing a card for the 3080 ti step up. Buying second hand is hence, not an option. Waiting is the only one.

3080 Ti may not be coming out until October so you got a long wait ahead of you, it's already been "delayed" twice, I think they had no intention of actually releasing it in Q1 tbh. Sidenote: I just got BRUHed by Port Royal... ONE POINT!!!!!!!!!! short of my personal best. Running it again after the card cools down. lol

Is the queue systems also applied to the 1650/1660s? Or do they just receive a notification when in stock?

My understanding is that any GPU with a notification button on it's EVGA sale page means a queue. Dabadger84 Pretty sure those are not included, only 30-series cards & the hybrid coolers there-to have a queue system in place.
I may very well be wrong.

I believe Hybrids are mostly expected next week. For those of you looking at getting the eliteness of a Kingpin, in case you're wondering how the cooling compares to a standard Hybrid, I can tell you both the idles and the loads on the VRM/PWR readouts are MUCH cooler (5C or so) than the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid. vRAM varies a bit more, seems like the ones on the back of the card run warmer because of the thicc backplate - they idle cooler but get warmer when under prolonged load (like gaming) - not anywhere near danger-level hot, just warmer than the regular Hybrid card a bit. Good luck in the queues today folks!

As time goes on, more and more SKUs have been released, seeming to slow manufacturing down across the board. We are told that production will ramp up over time but it sure doesn't seem like that is the case. Very frustrating.

I'm assuming that AIBs have said production would be ramping up because that's what they were told by Nvidia. AIBs can't produce cards without GPU chips and Nvidia is the only source of those chips. EVGA can have 2 million cards sitting there ready to go but without GPU chips they're just paperweights. EDIT: Releasing new SKUs when those SKUs use the same GPU silicon as existing SKUs (which haven't yet had queue's (notification and/or step-up) satisfied is in my opinion valid criticism. Releasing new SKUs which are new silicon is in my opinion fine because they presumably don't impact existing production (assuming GPU silicon from Nvidia is the major rate limiter and not AIB board production)

I have about 0.01% hope left for the 3885 that I am closest to. Roughly 2.5 months to move 20+ hours, when it's just a little over 24 hours moved in 4+ months.

Yea, unfortunately this has turned into a good PR move but a really crappy situation for consumers. I mean, we cant just "will" more cards to be created more quickly, if there are production problems then thats where we are. But having the tariffs hit and now everything skyrocketing in price makes it sting even more. We have heard over and over that they are working on production, or that production is coming (all AIBs, not just EVGA), but in reality that isnt the case. We can be upset that they decided to stock dozens of SKUs, which they should have known full and would have made constrained stock even more of an issue. But I think it is safe to say that the likelihood of getting a card continues to decrease instead of increase. I mean, there are SKUs that havent broken a few hours after their launch, 4+ months after release. That is a problem. And the blame should be placed on EVGA. But the cards that are moving, are moving so slowly that if you arent in the first 2-3 days, its unlikely you will see that card before the April price grandfather period.

They shouldn't have come out with so many different SKUs: it's just downright ridiculous now that they keep creating new SKUs yet can't fulfill orders of people that have been waiting for close to 5 months now for a stupid card... But anyway it's too late now: nVidia screwed up, EVGA screwed up, everyone screwed up at this point and I still believe strongly that the 40xx series will be announced and they will STILL be trying to fulfill orders of people that have been waiting in queue for a 30XX card... All-in-all a really laughable display of incompetence across the board, and stop blaming it on COVID, it's too easy nowadays to do that to justify your incompetence and lack of proper judgement. Yes the queue system is nice but you also have to keep in mind that a handful of SKUs would have been more than enough for the 3080s instead of being the pathetic mess we are in right now. It reminds me of the Star Citizen mess: they keep coming up with new content to create yet can't finish the old one that has been pending for years now. nVidia is to blame but so is EVGA too at this point.
