My watch is officially over. The 3090 XC3 Ultra I ordered from BB.ca last week has arrived in it's full red lips glory and is currently in the safety of my system. Everything so far seems working, I've just gotta run a benchmark for a bit to make sure. After that I'll get to work undervolting this monster later on.
Removed my notifies of course, hopefully that'll help some of you waiting on the queue get a card sooner.

Just ordered the HYBRID Kit. I'm betting these will be compatible with the 3080 Ti XC3 as well, which I will get if I cant manage to get a 3090 XC3 before the Ti launches.

I think it will be but it would be amazing to get confirmation. I doubt they will considering the Ti's aren't technically even announced yet.

I got one through the queue in October...and then had to give it to my brother because his gpu died and he was without any gaming functionality. I've been on an old (3 years old) Alienware gaming laptop that gets me approximately 42 FPS on Rocket League (almost unplayable) but I could at least game. Boy, that was a LOOOONG conversation and, yes, he recognizes the sacrifice I made so that he can play right now (he works in a hospital in a front line capacity so it was a pretty easy call for me to hand it over). I am still waiting for a Hydro Copper which remains delayed indefinitely. And, if the rumors are true, I may have yet another issue to consider if/when the 3080Tis are announced.
It is weird. I started the queue tracking project to keep myself sane while I waited for my name to come up in the queue. I am old (45+ years old) and cannot compete at the F5 contest and unwilling to risk my health waiting outside the Tustin MicroCenter overnight in the middle of a pandemic, so the queues are pretty much my only option. I shared the table once or twice in the thread and it seemed to help others, so I kept doing it. Now it is basically part of my daily routine and, usually, reasonably manageable. My daughter often complains that I care more about my EVGA (pronounced by her as "EV-GA" folks) than I do about her, but she wants a better rocket league experience too, so she is trying to be patient as well. Anyway...yes, it takes time, but this community has really lifted my spirits and the summary is something I can do to contribute....
But enough about me...let's go get our cards! Good luck today!

I went ahead and ordered the water cooling kit 400-HY-1978-B1 for the 3080 xc3 ultra. It looks to be like I'm an 1:26 away. The shipping was a killer to Alaska. At least Enewt's code was good for knocking $11.00 off making the shipping not as crazy. I thought about waiting until I got my notify in a month or two (I was hoping the queue would move a few hours this week at least, but oh well) to buy it together to save on shipping, but I figured it would probably sell out before then and I'd have to buy it separately anyway and pay shipping.
At least the 7.25 hours of Overtime I worked on New years day, and the the OT from this week and the week before will pay for all this new computer stuff. I'm tired of Covid and working OT, but the extra money is nice, it definitely has kept my wife from nagging me as I bought 3 Omen 27i QHD monitors right before black Friday when Best Buy dropped the price on them a bunch, the 3070, the 5600x, a new motherboard for my son so he could use the 3900x I gave him (he will get the 3070 once i get a 3080), and the 3080 and 5900/5950x I'm going to get eventually...Work at home has proven expensive this year.

Hi all. Just scored a 6800xt from Newegg tonight. I'm still not sure how I feel about joining team red for the first time in 20+ years of pc building but I've gotten desperate. My 1080 died in October and pc life has been a struggle. Anyway if everything works when it arrives I'll free up my queue spots. One good one. Thanks for the updates enewt. Many folks that are still hanging in there, since the mid Sept launch. Fingers crossed for you my man! Indeed, thank you EVGA for the queue. At least some folks have been able to secure their cards this way during the bot wars.

My conspiratorial brain thinks EVGA is holding back cards until they get their prices update on the site and then they'll open the floodgates. I hope this is not the case, but it wouldn't surprise me.
This is my fear as well. If the prices at Newegg are what they will be at EVGA's store, it will price me out of the cards I have been in line for since 9/19/20.
