My 3080 FTW Ultra time came up today - 9:28am. Used enewt's code as a thanks for maintaining this list.
Should arrive tomorrow as I had them overnight it to Oregon.
Upgrading from a 1080 non-ti. Should be a nice boost :)

Should arrive tomorrow as I had them overnight it to Oregon.
Upgrading from a 1080 non-ti. Should be a nice boost :)
I'm on 1080 Ti and CPUNK77 is making my card look like a joke. Can't wait for any 3080 really. Heck, I'd take a 3070 rn. but congrats tho! Enjoy man Edit: actually, they might fix the game before I can even get an email back.

Yeah heard the same. Apparently they don't view AMD as a big enough threat and can wait it out. I am glad I pulled the trigger on the 3090 (even with everyone saying its a bad buy), since I was never gonna get the 80 with its 10 gigs, so would've had to wait for the ti and I don't want to wait half a year, anymore.
Yeha I'm glad too that I went with the 10gb 3080. Initialy wen they said that the 20gb 3080 will it be released at the same times the AMD lunch, I didn't belive it. I don't think so you did a bad buy. A bad buy is pay scalpers for double the price.

How much VRAM does your average SP game in 4K uses? There must be a reason why it's only 10GB right? My 1080Ti is 11GB of DDR5X and I play on 1440p

At the time there was a chap who was upset about something, no names mentioned...but we're pretty sure we know who it was. Didn't really even have anything to do with the spreadsheet, was just mad that people weren't agreeing with him. It's just a fact that some people are poorly socialized and have low resilience- a toxic combination.

Yes, the original spreadsheet started off as a decent tool for obtaining data points to track the progress of the queues. But it was attacked with intentionally erroneous data and deletions that I (slash "some of us") suspect was entered by a then-participant in this thread who got into a textual (is that the forum equivalent of "verbal"?) dispute with one of the Associates that at the time was actively working to support this thread (it wasn't me, but I had a front row seat). A little while after their dispute, the sheets were damaged. The owner of the sheets attempted to rebuild them. They suffered another attack. The sheets were rebuilt again and locked down. But the data couldn't be restored 100% and over time the data, in my opinion, further degraded. The new spreadsheets that sprung up were locked down from the beginning but regularly suffer from intentional or unintentional erroneous data entries. I find them a good backstop on our reporting but 35%+ of the time, they appear to contain false positives. With respect to the spreadsheets, I continue to take exception to the use of "a projected date of email" column and even the ordinal positional feature (because the data set represents an unknown percentage of the entire universe of registrants). These confuse folks and generate unnecessary angst, in addition to being inaccurate. That is why my summary approach addresses the timeline, full stop. But this topic is well tread and I will wind it down there. Again, congratulations to everybody who secured cards today (whether through the queues or otherwise). I'm going to spend some time scouring the internet for additional reports and will get my summary out (hopefully before 6 pm PT).

OLIVR I don't understand your Point/Question. 1080ti vs 30 series it's a totaly different card, and it's not fear to compare. I did own A 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid from EVGA,And I was play with 5720x1080 144Hz res. at High setting at 100-105 FPS with no problem in some title.

There is a functioning spreadsheet for the hybrids.... somewhere. You enter your info on a page that can be edited and it auto-populates a master list. I put my info on it yesterday, but now I can't find it. At the time, I was #62 in the queue for a 3080 FTW Hybrid, but that sheet includes the original launch date in November as well as 12/16, so the first 20 or so time stamps had already been cleared.

Give it some time. People are still at work. Some probably don't even know they got an email and won't buy it in time. Some who got a time stamp probably never intended to buy the card in the first place and are playing games. There are always a few, especially since getting a time stamp requires no commitment. It's not a perfect way of doing things and could be improved on, but it's a lot better than wearing out your F5 button on some retailer website. ~edit If they make people buy a time stamp and ship the card when it's in stock it would certainly get the non-serious buyers and other trolls out of here. Money talks, bs walks.

did you already adjust the memory_pool_budgets file? read up on it or watch the video. Adjusting that file helps greatly.

Yep. No fps gain for me. 20GB on RAM and 11GB on VRAM. Nada. Even the AMD 75 to EB hex edit doesnt help on my 3950X. This Nvidia launch messed up my 2020 build. Got the 3950X just fine before Sep. and the entire scalping shtshow. Right now, the only thing thats making the game playable for me is low to med settings or all low + reshade.

At the same time, here, we are guaranteed to *eventually* get one, unlike the other storefronts where...
1. To be mashing F5 all day.
2. Hope the website isn't overloaded when they get stock
3. Hope there's still stock while you go through the checkout process.
Gamer's Nexus said in a previous HW News video that some Manufacturers expect a big dump of cards by the end of December; but didn't name names. Hopefully EVGA is in this.
No not really. If the keep just dropping new models and never filling the back list we will not get cards.
