Cool, today's progress with the 3080 FTW Ultra is as much as I have seen the queue advance for any card in a single day.
 
I went from 9 hours out to less than 6 hours out in about 4 days. It's noteworthy because there are  a LOT of people on auto-notify for the 3080's on 9/17. Emails for the leftovers should go out tomorrow so hopefully that will advance the queue into the 3pm hour.

Unfortunately, the spreadsheet is locked down such that we cannot add folks anymore – folks have to do it themselves. If you are so inclined, here is the link to the form to submit your date/time stamps to the spreadsheet:

The form doesn’t always work and recently folks have reported not being able to add themselves. That is why I currently recommend that rather than add yourself to the spreadsheet that already has a good number of data points and is tracking the front of the queue reasonably well, it is far easier to instead refer to the spreadsheet and compare it to your personal auto-notify date/time stamps to get a rough estimate of how far away is the front of the line.

From my read, you are about 5 days away on the 3080 XC3 Ultra.  Unfortunately, that card is still making its way through the launch day congestion (of a heavy load of registrants to the queue).  It will likely several weeks before the queue reaches your date/time stamp on 9/21.  I am sorry I do not have better news.

Appreciate the info, guess I'll just need to wait a few more weeks... :-/

It does feel like either volumes of drops for the FTW3 Ultras are increasing, or folks are declining (both in number of sign-ups or cancelling their auto-notifies)...or more likely both.  But the XC3s and the Gamings of all varieties remain essentially vaporware for the time being.  The last week or so has started the Blacks flowing, which is a net positive.  But Thanksgiving is fast approaching and some of the parents in our community are running out of time before the holidays.... 
 
Here's hoping EVGA can turn the spigot up to 11.

Don't give up.  Weird that your order was cancelled.  Are you ordering from outside of North America?  Could it be fraud protection on your form of payment (have you called them to alert them of your expensive purchase)? 
 
Don't give up on the customer service route. You will get your card ordered today!  

EVGA won't ship to my UPS store address because of fraud, even though Capital One texted me a code and approved the transaction.  They want to ship to my house where no one will be.  Ugh.  I have my credit card billing address as my UPS address because they are available during business hours to safely receive packages and I don't have to worry about porch bandits stealing my packages.   The rep on the phone was able to update the order to ship to my office (which has doors locked due to COVID but is better than shipping to my house).  Will see how the story goes!
 
 
Also, EVGA's phone system never called me back.  So I called again, it said 18 people ahead 25 minute wait and within 60sec I was connected to someone.  For anyone who has to call them, just wait, don't use the call back feature.

It feels like the 3080 XC3 Blacks are starting to pick up steam.  Assuming similar sized drops and cadence from the last week or so, I would think you would have your invite to purchase email by US Thanksgiving (potentially even next week).  Best of luck and thanks again!

Likely pretty tough.  I do think you will get the 3070 FTW3 Ultra email first, but probably two weeks or so out (there are a lot of 6:00 registrants from what I can gather; we will know more by COB Friday, I predict).  The 3080 XC3 Black email probably arrives after US Thanksgiving (possibly the week of US Turkey Day)...but given the short history of XC3 Black drops, these estimates could be WAY off. I'm removing myself from the queue for the 3080 XC Black (12:57 pm PT on 9/17/20, so kinda early-middle of the pack). Got a FE from Best Buy on Tuesday.

Got my 3090 notification and passed on it, I wanna see what the 6900xt can deliver.  

Waiting on the 3080 notification now.

Would someone be willing to explain the Step-Up program?

Not exactly.  If you were to buy a card (check the guidelines for the step-up program in the tabs above) and registered that card within 14 days of purchase, then you can sign-up to the step up program which would, when your name comes up on the separate queue, buy a better card (again, specified by the step-up program details).  You would pay shipping, taxes, and the difference between the two cards.  It can be an expensive endeavor -- in both time and money -- but some have made it work.  There is another part of the EVGA forums that discuss the step-up program in greater detail and I believe somebody is maintaining a spreadsheet for its queues. 
 
TLDR; you cannot simply switch to a 3080 when your name is called for the 3070.  You have to buy the card, enter the program, return the card, pay money, etc. etc.

There seem to be a lot of pre-builds with 3070 cards out there. I’m guessing that is where a lot of cards went. I went that route and ended up with the Gigabyte Vision which seems to be working fine.

Hi Toadman538.  I've looked at that spreadsheet from time to time, especially because it included some 3070 tabs. 
 
Unfortunately, with respect to the 3080 and 3090 data, their data is a smaller subset of the existing data in the original spreadsheet and upon which we have been relying.  While I do check it for additional data points the original spreadsheet may have missed, it is usually disappointing. 
 
With respect to the 3070 data, the data appears to contain significant erroneous "'invite to purchase' email received" data points.  I used one data point from that table a few days ago in my end-of-day summary and multiple folks in our thread were kind enough to inform me that either my summary was wrong or they had been missed (the summary was wrong due to my inclusion of data from that spreadsheet). 
 
While I applaud the team who tried to put together a spreadsheet for the 3070s, its data is not a set upon which to rely.
 
TLDR; I cannot recommend the alternative spreadsheet for a variety of reasons.
