Nereus Wow it looks like nothing went out today at all?
Yeah, its sad. I was really hoping that we would see some cards going out, but this matches our observation earlier this week that Fridays are usually dry. Man it would be so cool to see a major drop next week, as I'm noticing people are losing their hope.
I've already given up on one of my builds, its going to be a dual 6900xt build, there is no way I'm going to get my hands on two pairs of 3090s before the end of the year.

Jgiacone what are we up to? I have 9/17 10:04 am for ftw3 ultra. Do you think I will get one next week? I had a 3080xc3 but it died after a few days so i have to return it for a refund :(
I thought you were talking about where we were on the doc and my heart skipped a beat. Thought I got passed up, hah. I'm 9:50 am so I think there might be a chance you'll get one next week.

I'm getting weak, I'm starting to think were not getting xc3 gaming cards. Every day I feel like pulling the trigger on an ebay and being done with it which I know is wrong and frustrates me, I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Seems of late it is just a slow drip. My hopes of getting a 3090 FTW3 Ultra are about diminished. Not sure I saw more than a couple of those go out this week. Still a scalpers market I guess.

tonippo Does Anyone knows what is the status for the 3080 XC3 ULTRA?, Like Witch day and time is it. I haven't heard Any E-mail delivered today. I also notice that the spreadsheet is not moving at all for a wile now.
Last reported time based on twitter was 15:43 or 3:43 pm for the xc3 ultra. And Jacob said there was no emails today, guys emails are sent Tues to Thursday it seems and is not hard to see why. They probably receive new inventory on Monday that needs to be received and processed into their system so they don't make mistakes with the emails. I think they send any left overs (emails that time out ) on Fridays if any (we have seen small emails on Friday couple of weeks back). We need to be realistic about how product is received and handled. They probably receive shipments Tues to Thursday and even if they receive it Friday it probably isn't ready to be fully received til Monday. To those saying the list isn't moving ,how do we even know that they didn't send emails to people that's never reported themselves to the list. The best thing we can hope for is for people to come back here and simply state their time when they receive their emails (bet you many don't ) and or mention it on twitter. Lastly the "list" is moving Wednesday the last reported time for the xc3 ultra was 14:50 yesterday some guy on twitter said he got his email for his 15:43 so it moved 1+ hour. I think they are doing everything in their power imo to help people out with this queue system. I say what I told my friend whatever gpu comes first that's what I'll get yes including the amd cards but those that "threat" i'm done with EVGA or Nvidia, what makes anyone think stock won't be as bad? The cards being just as good as Nvidia means scalpers already know they will be a popular product and will dry the market. Bank on it.

Just got my UPS tracking info as of 7:53PM EST. Too bad the chances of them delivering before the ETA is next to nil - especially nowadays.

Celeras I have an unused code for Watch Dogs so if anybody wants to trade their COD code for it down the road maybe we can work something out
If I get a card soon, would be up for it..

justin_43 That will never happen. If they started selling AMD cards Nvidia would cut them off in like 2 seconds. Remember when XFX was an Nvidia only partner and they started selling AMD cards? They were immediately cut off and haven't sold an NVidia card since. Nvidia's partnership is the most important thing for EVGA. ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte get away with it because they are huge companies and aren't reliant on Nvidia.
I think Nvidia needs to keep some AIBs happy and EVGA is a premier one. It goes both ways.. Manufacturing your chips onto a pcb in a scalable way is a challenge in its own

Well, I don't really find that bundle as enticing as Watch Dogs, but it is good there is at least some game for those of us that may buy a card this month instead of the last 6 weeks we have been trying to buy a card... :)
I’m actually bummed I purchased my 3080 a couple hours before the 30th, because I’d much rather have the new COD than watchdogs. As is such, I haven’t received any codes for either for my 10/29 3080 purchase , yet.

I'm 7 days out and feel pretty good even though I have a build waiting for a card. This week we've seen more cards sent out than the previous weeks so things are picking up, and they should, then it will come faster and with less stress then camping the f5 button. EVGA is doing the right thing here, I'm in a line (multiple lines actually) which is better than anyone else is doing - this will be my first EVGA card and now it will not be my last. Also if I am forced to wait to get a Hydro Copper it just means I don't need to redo the loop.

Nereus
Rlaverty774 So the card I really want is the 3080 ftw3 ultra. I'm pretty early in the queue for a 3070 ftw3 ultra so chances are I'll see that first. Got into queue 23mins after launch for the 3070. My understanding is I can take the 3070 then do a step up to the 3080 and only pay shipping. First is that correct? 2nd if that is true am I able to do a step up based in my original spot in queue for the 3080 or would I have to requeue in the setup up program?
You pay for the difference in the price of the cards. Effectively you get the 3070 rent-free for a couple of months or however long it takes. They don't upgrade you from 3070 to 3080 for free. The step-up is a separate from normal orders, so your effective 'notification date' would be the day your step up request is accepted. We do not know if EVGA are giving priority to step ups, but it would seem highly unlikely.
Im in this same boat, the 3070 should be here on Thursday for me. Kinda regretting it as there is no telling how long the step-up queue is going to be. But im near 1000 spot in line for the FTW Ultra and 360 something for the XC3 Ultra, so i figured its pull the trigger now and deal with the step up hassle or hope my 1070 thats been a bit spotty lately held on until the 3080 came through. BTW i used your code at checkout Nereus for doing me that solid and adding me to the spreadsheet.

raidersfan64 Are you running a lot of stuff off a 15A circuit? A lot of Amps on a 15A circuit will do that too. It is possible that you increased the total wattage with your 3080 onto your PSU and the circuit can't handle it. Been there done that, I had to move up to a 20 Amp. good luck with that.
Out of curiosity, how much did you have running on that one circuit? I'm currently running my main rig (average draw of 675 watts under simultaneous Prime95 and Furmark loads), five displays, a sound bar with wireless sub and wireless rear surrounds, two Dell PowerEdge R710 rackmount servers (two 4c/8t Xeons each), an old Optiplex 755 (running Untangle UTM), AT&T fiber ONT and gateway, 24 port switch, wireless access point, Arlo camera hub, two smart lighting hubs, and multiple smart bulbs. Honestly, I'm surprised I haven't had any issues.

So just as reference to how long it's taking the ftw3 ultra has been getting emails from the beginning to people in like on launch day and we have in 3 or 4 weeks made it 3 hours on day one sign ups... So it's going slowly.

Sorry, that wasn't really the point. I was just saying I've got a ton of stuff running on a 15 amp circuit. It felt like I needed to explain what and how much was running without any issues on my end. Would you rather I tried to compare my situation to theirs by simply saying "I has lots of stuff plugged into my room and nothing goes boom"?

You could have your pc and a tiny space heater on a single circuit and already be popping with the new cards depending on the model and whether you're overclocking. Considering a small heater on high is sucking around 1200 watts, 400ish watts for the gpu alone, then factor in everything else. Boom

I could have sworn I asked to be notified about the 3090 FTW3 ultra on launch day as well as a few other GPU’s but it seems the page to put my info in on my IOS device makes it hard to complete. so now according to notify check I didn’t ask to be notified. how accurate is the auto notify?

From what I'm seeing around it appears to be pretty accurate, but I also had a mishap with it on the 3070 launch. It appears that if it doesn't send you an email immediately, acknowledging that you entered the queue, it didn't work. I learned this the hard way when I entered for the 3070 xc3 ultra within 2 minutes of launch not knowing that I was supposed to get an email right away. 30 minutes later, I found out and re-entered and sure enough it instantly sent me an email but now I'm 30 minutes after release instead of 2 :/ Guess the website was just so overloaded it didn't process some of the auto notify submissions
