One thing about the lack of certain models even to start shipping, is that EVGA didn't plan the que system. Many of their cards were pre ordered by resellers (NE,etc).  EVGA shipped the few units they had day one to customers, but the lead time for round 2 is troubling. What I am saying is that just because the "que" isn't moving doesn't mean EVGA never had those cards.

Hi Mate, can you please send an queue update just to check how fast is going?

I don't want to flood the thread with a repeat of this, but given that some folks on the west coast are just waking up, here it is one more time.

I took a deep dive through Thursday’s fast-moving thread, the spreadsheet and a few other sources.  However, due to limited time and energy, this information is only a ROUGH estimate of where we are.  Please do not treat it as gospel.  It looks like Thursday was one of our better drop days, but Gaming and Gaming Black cards remain woefully underserved.  [Table below – as of 02:30:00 Friday, October 30]

Card                                 Auto-Notify Date/Time                 Current Position Number               Increased Positions        Change in Date/Time
3090 FTW3 Ultra               9/24/2020 15:14:12 *                  118                                            +0                                         N/A
3090 FTW3 Gaming           9/24/2020 00:00:00                     0                                               N/A                                        N/A
3090 XC3 Ultra                  9/24/2020 09:22:59                     5                                              +0                                          00:00:00

3090 XC3 Black                 9/24/2020 00:00:00                     0                                               N/A                                        N/A

3080 FTW3 Gaming           9/16/2020 00:00:00                     0                                               N/A                                        N/A
3080 XC3 Ultra                  9/16/2020 14:50:00 **                67                                             +0 (see note below)                N/A (see note below)
3080 XC3 Gaming             9/16/2020 11:01:20 ***               3                                               N/A                                        N/A
3080 XC3 Black                 9/15/2020 00:00:00                     0                                               N/A                                        N/A
3070 Launch Day Black      9/29/2020 06:07:00 ****            N/A                                            N/A                                        N/A

*             The 3090 FTW3 Ultra sheet in offline.  From our thread or DM we are aware of +3 cards sold on 10/29.  Those +3 confirmed sales would take the current position number to 121.  Those sales would move the date/time to at least 15:14:12 (with kevintrisha’s date/time stamp still TBD); that reflects a change of at least 00:13:11.

**           Although the spreadsheet self-reporting did not move on Thursday, ninjabrick, ConradVR, agramonte and DocBach all reported receiving “invite to purchase emails” for the 3080 XC3 Ultra.  Assuming those reports reflect a consistent distribution to the latest date/time stamp of those reports, the spreadsheet should have moved at least 12 positions to 79 and have a last reported registration date of 15:57:08 (thanks agramonte for the report to our thread). That date/time stamp, if accurate, would reflect a move of 01:07:08.  The table above reflects the static spreadsheet numbers and not the changes discussed in this footnote.

***        The spreadsheet continues to show no activity.  However, we previously received 3 reports to our thread that indicate that emails went out through the date/time stamp reflected in the table.  I am not aware of any activity on this queue on 10/29.

****     For the 3070 Launch Day Black card, I am only listing the last date/time stamp of which I am aware from folks’ self-reporting to the thread.  I have no information from EVGA about this, but my hope is that any straggling cards (I am aware of at least two handfuls of 3070 Launch Day email recipients that passed) will be repurposed to the first date/time stamped individuals for any SKU that contains the 3070 Gaming Black card, which would mean that the “front of the queue” would revert to the first date/time stamps around 5:59:00 am (yes, I am aware of at least two folks who were able to click “auto-notify” the night before when the page was briefly live [EVGA was likely testing the page]).

Please keep in mind that the spreadsheet is self-reported only.  We don't know if it represents 5%, 25%, 50%, or some other percentage of the cards distributed to the queue.  It absolutely does not represent 100%.

I hope this helps.  Happy Friday and happy hunting!

Theres my dates

3080 FTW3 Ultra you'd be around #955 on the spreadsheet. The list is currently at about #230 for sending out emails, so there's likely a fair bit of a wait to go, however we keep hearing production is ramping up so it's a tough call. About 50 emails went out for that model yesterday, so if that rate kept up you could expect an email in maybe 3-4 weeks... but up until now the average has been significantly less than 50 cards a day.

3070 FTW3 Ultra you got in reasonably early on the first day, but we don't know how many people are on that queue or how quickly EVGA are going to get through it, it's too soon to even have a reasonable indication.

I would think you'll be receiving the 3070 email first. If you receive it in the next week or so, and as long as you get in the step up queue as soon as you receive the 3070, then personally I'd take that route considering you are running on integrated graphics right now. Yes you will be in for a much longer wait for the 3080, but it's not going to cost you anything extra except the shipping to return the 3070 to EVGA, and you get a damn good card to use in the interim instead of integrated graphics... but if you don't receive an email for the 3070 in the next week or two, might as well suffer a week or two longer for the 3080 and be done with it.

Toss a coin? :D

Another week , another opportunity to get the card I want does not materialize.
Getting really frustrating.

One thing about the lack of certain models even to start shipping, is that EVGA didn't plan the que system. I think that is a really important point.  I seriously doubt that EVGA intended to be the retailer of choice for their cards during the launch window. Much more likely is that Best Buy, Microcenter and other retailers/etailers were supposed to carry the weight (with EVGA.com doing a small business for core fans and maintaining the storefront over the long tail of the 30 series lifespan).  Instead, they had to step into the gap and create the queue, thereby becoming our etailer of choice (and necessity).

If that is all true, then their first production runs would be based on orders from retailers and etailers...and maybe some of the blame for the lack of availability of the Gaming and Gaming Black units should fall there.  This argument diminishes, however, over time and I would suggest that by now EVGA should have those cards on planes and ships heading to warehouses to be sold.  If that is not the case, I would respectfully request an explanation as to why not.

It appears there will not be a drop today.  Jacob doesn't quite clarify which card, but with the "larger" suggestion, it seems to be the 3080 ftw3 ultra that he is referring too.

Anyone know if any 3090 FTW3 Ultras are releasing today?  Also when they say switching to the new SKU is that a backplate thing?

I seriously think any of the XC3 Black cards are there just to say there's a model close to FE model in price.

The way how 3080 models haven't even shipped a single one after 6 weeks, you might be waiting a while and will get the Ultra

How does this new notify thing work? I clicked a link here to a spreadsheet or something but it was just a 404 error for me... Anyone able to hook me up?

my notifies are as follows:
10G-P5-3897-KR 9/22/2020 5:49:16 PM PT No
10G-P5-3885-KR 9/22/2020 5:48:43 PM PT No

If I have to add info myself that's fine but I have no idea what the deal is with the spreadsheet thing :o

I thought 3070 being a "budget" model, the budget models i.e the XC3 Black will get priority. So signed up for it first and then continued to the Ultra and FTW3. All signups are withing the first minute. So fingers crossed for next week

It looks like no queue is past launch day for their respective cards yet. So 9/17 for 3080s and 9/24 for 3090s. Bummer. But most likely those were the heaviest days for notifys so once we get past those days it hopefully will move faster. I feel your pain, I'm on 10/2

I think evga should seriously allocate 50% or more of their inventory to their own site moving forward esp in NA: get a more loyal customer base, keep more profits and actually give folks a fair shot.

I thought 3070 being a "budget" model, the budget models i.e the XC3 Black will get priority. So signed up for it first and then continued to the Ultra and FTW3. All signups are withing the first minute. So fingers crossed for next week

That my friend, as I realized, is an incorrect statement. If EVGA gets a 3080 chip, guess what, allocating it to the higher end card earns more profit. I'm almost certain that the Blacks have very little profit margin

Yup, call of duty black ops cold war official:

Well, I don't really find that bundle as enticing as Watch Dogs, but it is good there is at least some game for those of us that may buy a card this month instead of the last 6 weeks we have been trying to buy a card... :)

Honestly... Not even sure if most will be able to get the cards by the end of November lol. I'm queued for the backend of the 17th in September and at this point it's like 2021 is in my horizon. You're right though I'd rather have watch dogs. I already pre-ordered the call of duty lol.

I find the CoD offer way better than watch dogs. I played the first one on the playstation and never finished it. I would never have bought the new one unless it was super cheap. But I would have bought the CoD game. I am hoping to get my card next week so this works out good for me.

I agree and you really can't blame them. After all they are a business and will maximize their profits. For 3080 I made the mistake, 3070 I learnt. So I will take any 3070 I can get my hands on.
BTW the backplate in the 3070 actually helps in heat dissipation unlike 3080, as EVGA has used thermal pads on back of 3070, unlike 3080. So XC3 ultra might not be a bad buy

I think evga should seriously allocate 50% or more of their inventory to their own site moving forward esp in NA: get a more loyal customer base, keep more profits and actually give folks a fair shot.

This would likely be a poor business decision if future launches are smooth and don't have these problems.  We're all excited right now as consumers to have a queue system in place, but I believe the average consumer on a future launch will go back to their normal retailer/etailers.

EVGA historically does the bulk of their business through their existing relationships.  If they were to shun them by holding back 50% of their stock, those retailer/etailers may not return and just choose other manufacturers who prioritize them. Guaranteed volume sales is much better than slightly higher profit on what could potentially be significantly fewer sales.

If EVGA were to continue to see brand loyalty, and straight from their website purchases on future launches then the proposition of doing most sales direct to consumer is a conversation they could sit down and have.

I disagree.. if EVGA is ambitious enough they can turn themselves into the next BIG electronics retailer by building more brand loyalty and expanding their product line to AMD items..
