It is a 3% discount at checkout. If you are in North America, at checkout there is a field where you can enter in an "Associate Code". Entering the code in that field will generate a 3% discount on the gpu. Other products like cooling solutions have bigger discounts. My code is here and if you click that link it should set a cookie on your device so that the code is pre-entered when you reach the checkout flow. To be clear, there are other members of this community that have the same type of code that also offers a 3% discount on gpus. I hope that helps explain the situation.

Fine with me. If I can get a 3080ti I won't be upgrading for probably 8-10 years.

CptT95 Anyone have an issue with the 12v rail reading into mobo and gpu increasing by 1-1.5v after installing custom sleeved cables from cablemods?
Maybe get an answer in the Power Supply section?

People actually bid the Kingpin HC that wasn't from a "new" seller up that high. That is so crazy that anyone would pay that much for one. I get that it's a very low supply very high demand card for people that want it, but WOW.

Looks like I will have to email customer support :( Poked a voltage meter into a free molex plug and 12v line read 13.9v and 5v side read 5.04v like it's supposed to, so off it goes Let's just hope they can fix it or have a t2 series psu spare for RMA Edit- Could one of the wires from the 16 +10 pin PSU side plugs be crossed together wrong, since 3 pairs of wires are spliced together for the EVGA t2/p2 units?

Pretty soon you won't be able to get a high capacity hard drive or SSD either, due to Chia farming

Nor can you get ram at a decent price due to shortages and "higher cost of production".... 😡

Now that payments are being handled directly through EBay, that's not a thing anymore. They either pay or it doesn't ship. There's no more "unauthorized transaction" attempting on Paypal's end of things. I had someone try to pull that crap on me for an item I resold recently, I'm still dealing with the aftermath - the Paypal end of things is taken care of, but EBay has yet to give me back the Final Value Fee for the sale that didn't actually occur. Slightly off topic from that, but the guy that bought my 2nd RAM kit that I resold was all happy it looked brand new, "You must've taken a lot of time cleaning these off". I'm like, naw dude, I don't touch my computer stuff with my bare hands, ever. Vinyl/latex non-powdered gloves, all the time. Sometimes it's a pain, but it saves me ever having to worry about fingerprint smudges. Hoping the kit I want comes back in stock in Silver so I can get that ordered & then resell my current kit too. 4000MHz CL15 memory is going to be awesome to work with I think. Should be able to run CL14 @ 3800MHz with pretty decent sub timings. Hope everyone had a good & safe weekend, here's hoping we get some drops for the folks still waiting.

yea ebay is a little differnt now but i still cringe when i sell stuff on it sold a cpu last year and was worried but buyer left feedback said it worked great and was happy. But 7-8 years ago i had a buyer leave feedback then try to scam me saying it didn't work i got it back worked fine he didn't return everything so i got paypal to give me a 20 dollar credit because of it.

I’ve been in que for a notification since October 22/2020 (rtx3080 item 3881), this card is still on September 16/2020 for its notification que while almost every other series is moving along way past it. Is there zero production for this card? If the card is not being produced at all it would be cool if we had a choice to purchase any other 3000 series instead. (Most people signed up for 1 card notification at that time because no one would’ve thought this would be the case)

Man I didn't think it could get worse. I have everything except a Vid card now for my new build. But it looks like folks are now gonna have a hard time getting SSD's at reasonable prices. This is crazy......... Edit: That's wacky about your power cable Cpt. Maybe it was made on a Friday ;)
