Has anyone successfully checked out an EVGA card using the new checkout process with queued waitlist?

I can't wait to see how this shakes out.  I figure 75% hash rate changes do about nothing, but I'm hoping that it really works and the 'gaming' video cards start to be available.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Yes, I just went thru it today.  Followed direction from the email.   Title is [Notice] EVGA Product Availability Update Notification {Product Code}  make sure you white list it. I didn't see it right away, but was able to get it with 3 hours to spare.  Any questions let me know.

Getting a 3070 by May 19th. How Cool.  I'm upgrading from a EVGA GTX 1070, I'm putting the 1070 in my media server now.

Thanks Newt. I appreciate the kind words.

I thought I'd share one last thing before I shut this down til Monday.  One thing I talked about yesterday with the super helpful VA therapist is it's hard to change.  It's hard to be kind to yourself and give yourself a break, because there's so many years of not being that way.  I remember the first time she told me to tell myself out loud to give yourself a break.  I couldn't do it.  That's messed up that someone cannot do that.  So focused on perfection.  Being really good at something is a huge positive, but not if you beat yourself up for not being excellent every moment.  No one is.

We forget it quick if our lives have told us to be a different way.  She recommended, because she's incredibly helpful, that I set an alert every morning on my phone or whatever to tell me it's ok to not be perfect and remember to give me a break.  A couple of years ago I would have scoffed at this kind of thinking.  I was a little less aware then and that kind of thinking was counter to how I came up.  This kind of nudge to be more positive helps me.  I think many people in this queue are dealing with many of the same issues in different flavors and it's easy to get frustrated.  Set yourself an alert.  It's ok to get angry about something, but just remind yourself that you don't have to let it dictate your day.

Control what you can control.  Remind yourself to at least be kind to you and those closest to you.  The other things will work out.  And I will do a little shimmy when one of the 3090s I want comes through.  Don't worry, you will not have to watch.

Nice job and the best of luck with it, I have a 3070 in my list of hopefuls as well and I won't be parting with my 1070 either.

Are we able to get an estimate on how many people are in queue vs current stock incoming? And is the queue different for each region, such as Europe where I am.

I see the drama on the EVGA forums is still making a bump here and there..  good times!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...  I sure do miss the old days of buying PC hardware, mainly, GPU's.  I never would have thought I'd still be waiting for a EVGA 30-series card 8 months after it initially released.  Oh well.  Nothing to do but continue to be 'patient' and wait for that day to eventually come.  Well, at least the 3070 Ti & 3080 Ti is being announced at the end of May and launched shortly after.   I'll be throwing my name in the hat (queue) for that one too.

The drama will probably increase in a couple of weeks.  Since no one can alter or control the reality of the current situation, might as well be patient.  Enewt and BovineGamer have done a great job on the queue lists.  I think some members forget that this is self reported data and is done only through their efforts and their efforts afford a good view on how fast queues are moving and current position.

I have an idea
Dear friend, do you have a new 3080/3090 just received from EVGA
Then Send it to me,
if it's new,
if it works,
Then you have found a friend in the world
Is it a deal ?

A lot of people have been waiting longer.  Some queues move faster than others due to chip availability from Nvidia.

September 17th was the 'release' day, and when I first signed up on the queue system that EVGA offered for is.  Almost 8 months ago exactly..  minus 2 days.  Still wish I never missed my first notification email from EVGA for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra.  I'm making sure not to miss the next one..

I don't think anyone knows exactly how much stock is coming when, but we can estimate. The queue is different for Europe, yes. Like you, I'm in Europe, and the queues seem to be considerably slower moving than they are in North America. No idea why, but it's frustrating.

UK is part of the EU queue I'm pretty certain. If you want to double check you're in the EU queue, go to eu.evga.com > My EVGA > My Notifies. It should confirm your notify there.

Has anyone successfully checked out an EVGA card using the new checkout process with queued waitlist?

A lot have, but most GPUs still have pretty lengthy waiting lists, so EVGA probably won't get around to serving recent applications to the queue for a little while unfortunately.

They should have narrowed the email response time to 5 minutes to get the queue really moving.

That's no better then other retailers, no one would be getting cards at that point

Thank you - the queue status has two columns: timestamp when you joined the queue and whether you have been notified.   Length of the queue (what you would be interested to know) is not displayed.

Yes, shortly after EVGA introduced the queue system, they increased the window of time you had to claim you card from the notification email to 8 hours.  Initially it was 5 hours.. I was at work when I received my email notification and missed the window my 30 mins.. If EVGA was using the 8 hour window at that time, I would have a 3080 FTW3 right now.  Yeah.. I was a little upset at the time tbh.
