FFS EVGA!!!, i knew it, only cater for the US market.
I been waiting since October for this board to release & i cant even get one.
When this board does eventually release for the UK it would probably be so limited i wont even be able to get one.

Yeh I'm kinda gutted myself, I have been waiting on either this or the Xtreme Waterforce from Gigabyte, whichever drops first.

But as it's shown on the front page of the EU site hopefully it shouldn't be far behind the US for purchase.

Yh there is literally no hope tbh, considering even the ftw still says coming soon as well.
At least the US evga one previous stated it was out of stock.
This sucks so bad.

I think I saw it briefly a couple of weeks ago on the Newegg GB but I don't see it available anywhere anymore over here.

I think the price was around the same at £850+ but im not paying that when the non-waterforce version is £480, I don't mind paying extra because of the CPU block etc but at the very most i would pay £700 and that's pushing it.

yeah I saw it on newegg's US site through them at 900 then 1500 through resellers, While I think its the sexiest motherboard I have ever seen visually I cant spend more than 500$ on a z-series mobo   I paid 200$ for my z170m OC formula at release and that board stomped everything until this board...
maximus extremes were never even this much. MOBO prices are insane. I honestly dont see this being sustainable

interesting.  are you sure about that?  I don't see it advertised but there are two 4 pin headers close to the memory slots.

is it possible to set RGB memory color without headers?  if not.  I wasted some money

I believe you'll need some type of rgb controller software. I'm probably gonna buy the cooler master rgb controller and I read that it's software can control ram rgb even if the ram doesn't have rgb cables

Yes, there is no RGB support or headers on Z390 DARK and X299 DARK boards.
RGB-functionality on DIMMs would work as expected, though.

TiN mentioned in another post that RGB memory should have no issues being controlled: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2906616

If you have other devices that require RGB headers, then you'll need some sort of controller.

I will admit, I don't have enough knowledge about the RGB dimms.   how would they function as expected without a header?  thought the header controlled the color.

It's gotta be through software somehow. I'd assume that it's part of the RAM's drivers.
