What's in the event related to the Z390 Dark?

Look at the picture. There is a Z390 in the banner but you can't even win one. :-s

After the initial batch of the Z390 FTW boards, they have not had any available now for a few weeks.
Makes me quite concerned being able to even get a Z390 Dark whenever they do become available to order.
I just have to hope I can get in on it and get one.

I request EVGA makes a Bat Signal but specifically for the Z390 Dark that shines in the sky once it's available

I wish they did for these boards like MSI does for XOC bios. You gotta have sub zero submissions on hwbot and contact local rep, solve supply and keep these boards out of the hands of the damned knaves who are never gonna use dice ln2 phase or even chilled water or peltiers... i mean or atleast proof they have sent over 2v to ram, oc’d n passed 32m or something.

Then theyd only need hundreds instead of thousands. N theyd have been out by now

Go buy a taichi, build ur rig, return or keep for spare when dark comes out if ur sick of waiting.... and you dont even have parts around to play the ftw3? GL hope u dont need to rma... then you are gonna have to wait even longer...

It's been nearly 2 months since the 390 FTW board was available. I understand the Dark board is still being designed but what kind of supply chain failure is going on with the mid-tier boards? I've had parts since November waiting for it and didn't get in on the first round...

I know people hate to hear soon....but CES is next week.  So soon may carry some weight to it. 

I sure hope you are right - and that I can get one!

I was going to build a new system with this board, but since I wasted a few weeks waiting around for it.  I'm just going to buy a new GPU and wait for the next round of Intel chips to come out.  There might be a new socket, DDR5 and PCI express 4.0 around the corner.

Yeah for me though, I am already all in on a Z390 build as I already have all the parts with the exception of the motherboard. Guess when I saw the announcement on the Z390 Dark I was not thinking it would be quite this long.

I sure hope so, can't come soon enough at this point.

Again, as happy as I am for *any* new information...it shouldn't be coming from a guy who doesn't work for EVGA.  It should be coming from EVGA themselves.

I wasn't actually able to listen in on the livestream earlier - did they release ANY new information?  Or was it all just "oooh, just you wait for CES" stuff?

I couldnt be bothered waiting...9900K been out since Oct.....went with Maximus XI Extreme....great board...by the time this is released Z400 will be released :)

Probably not today. CES doesn’t officially start until Tuesday, so hopefully on Tuesday.

Does anyone know if I can use Windows 8.1 with this MB and a 9900k? I know there are issues (lack of drivers for USB3) for Windows 7, but I think Windows 8.1 should work? Also, for other parts of the motherboard, like the NIC, will there be a Windows 8/8.1 driver available for it?

Kaby Lake S are these chips:

It looks like Kaby Lake S only has Win10 drivers, but others do, like Coffeelake, so the 9900K would have Win 8.1 drivers for the MB?
