my guess is its gonna drop around midnight tonight or 10-noonish est tomorrow. if they are planning on dropping them in the next 24hours. i usually see the high end rtx 2080Ti restock around then.

Well Jacob tweeted app 19 hours ago the release was "imminent".
I think my idea of imminent may be a little different.
Think I am burned out on watching this screen today, need a break LOL. I will try and check every so often.

While I can't be surprised that they went with what I considered a few pages ago to be "top of the mark" pricing, since I'm sure they've been passively checking this thread and gauging all of our impatient vitriol as 'enthusiasm', I think *my* enthusiasm has finally met its end. $499 for what boils down to a no-frills Z390 with an excellent VRM might be fine for people who are having their OC efforts/exploits subsidized by sponsors, but for someone who was just looking for a very-high-end option with an extendable warranty, it's a miss.
The complete lack of 'Quality of Life' options on the board should've made the price ~$449 *at the most*. The initial $499 MSRP of the X299 DARK made *some* sense because the X299 at the time was the single-most expensive motherboard chipset Intel had ever offered. $449 would've also made picking up an extended warranty far more attractive, but at $499+50+(insert EAP)...nope.
Enjoy your DARKs, guys - I guess I'll just have to content myself with a 5.2-5.3Ghz OC on my Xtreme, which I can now feel secure taking out of its box.

Thanks for the suggestion. I GOT IT!!! Whooeee, yipeeed! After all these weeks of waiting, the final component of my new build is actually ordered! Thanks much guys! PayPal would not work for me, CC did. ( same CC PayPal uses). I called customer service and they suggested just trying the CC. I described the error message to them.

FFS EVGA!!!, i knew it, only cater for the US market.
I been waiting since October for this board to release & i cant even get one.
When this board does eventually release for the UK it would probably be so limited i wont even be able to get one.
